I'm serious about this one. This isn't about personal bias or preference. I believe Ganon for all purposes of having a good fun match in Brawl is by far the best character in the game.
The reasons why:
1. Ganon lacks a projectile. In Brawl, many characters like to play keep away with projectiles, which can slow down the gameplay, and in Brawl, projectile camping is promoted due to the lack of ways it can be appropriately countered. When you play Ganon, you cast these gay things aside meaning that you will actually have an incentive to interact with your opponent.
2. Ganon has COMBOS. And good ones at that rate. Flame Choke and D-air combos are win really.
3. Ganon is very strong. Every hit you land as Ganondorf makes a clear difference and having opportunities to slaughter your opponent at 80% are very satisfying.
4. Ganon has good range and priority on attacks. If you are really aiming to hit someone with an attack, it's not unreasonably hard to connect with an attack, unlike say trying to hit someone with Falcon's N-air which has zero duration and priority below him.
5. Ganon's strengths and weaknesses make Ganondorf dittos officially among the least lame of all character dittos in Brawl. There is really no "gay" play in Ganon dittos, you have plenty of opportunity to combo and punish with kill moves. Ganondorf's slick edgeguarding is also very viable in these dittos while at the same time he's not getting buttraped by MK's insane edgeguarding. These dittos basically are the type of matchup where there is a lot of ways you can play this, since there is no one way to play Ganon that isn't punishable by the other Ganon, and everyone here knows when Ganon punishes someone they REALLY pay for it.
I highly suggest that major tourneys go by these rules: Ganon only, no items, Battlefield.
