I love pk-ow for making those super detailed hard to read posts that raise my IQ everytime I read one.

Too bad I disagree with him most of the time :(

Who all has an infinite on ganon?
Errrm, a true infinite.. There aren't many. But, Wario has a mean chaingrab on him, I think up to about 200% and so does Pikachu. IC's can infinite anyone. D3 has one of those walking infinites on Ganon.... ZSS and Pit have small chaingrabs (nothing big, 40% or so?) and... Oh, Bowser has grab release shenanigans.

In his STANDING animation Ganondorf exudes more manliness than Falcon... his muscles ****ing ripple WHEN HE'S NOT EVEN MOVING.

Dude,

dude,

pick your battles.

Dude.

Ganondorf is not more manly than Captain Falcon. No, no, at ease, gentlemen. Such is a chance to grow in our understanding of the Orthodoxy.

Captain Falcon is more manly than Ganondorf. To say otherwise is just denial of scientific fact.

Much like the secrets of Samus' Chozo armor, scientists of any discipline are not entirely sure how the Falcon's manliness comes into being, but there is data to say a lot about it - and leaving many of the deep questions of this phenomenon to our greatest philosophers, we can all be certain, that no one surpasses the Falcon in mannitude.

But at the same time, the Ganon's beast levels, among other, vastly more important metrics, do dwarf Falcon's own. In addition, just for exploratory purposes, the Ganon even has properties of which Falcon has no measure; exemplis gratis, do you know how many material symbols of primordial Creator Force that Captain Falcon has in his possession? I'll bet you it's not one.

But, the work of figuring out exactly what the beast levels are or what sort of measures it is we want to talk about, can be left to the physicists. For now, my job as a theologian I think can be at rest, and say these would be why our worship subscription to Ganondorf is good and just - although such facts are little more than contingent, given it was not our choice, but His that we should grovel so.

Nonetheless. We shall not fall from the right knowledge of our king, being caught in inconsequential squabbles over untruths on His name.
A short hymn now, if you will join me: wwwooooaaarrruuohhh.... urrrruuuaaaaaaggghhh. Amen.

Thank you for your question, Spelt.
Get ***** PX.

Oh, and Falcon ripples too, btw.

As you all can see, the Advanced Choke Guide thread failed epically. T_T

Want me to start a moveset discussion instead? A lot has changed since our last discussion 6 months ago.

You know, I could make a joke about Ganon and the act of "choking", but that would be way too easy.
You know, I could make a joke about Bowser and the act of having awful tourney results because Bowser mains spend all their time posting here instead of going to tournaments and this will probably cause Bowser to fall in the next tier list, but that would be way too easy. JK.

To good Twilight, way to good. Though, it would've of been much more of a insult if you mentioned how many moves Bowser ***** (literally) his opponents with.

My friend has a pretty good TL.
As soon as I get to close, he does this Stick N Move thing with SH Nair.
It's pretty hard to punish it; does anybody have any good advice?

Don't? I mean, if you can't seem to actively punish it, why bother? If you powershield it and he moves back with SH nair, you could try a dash attack, I guess. But SH nair is pretty safe on shield otherwise (much like zair).

Have any of you been following the new tier list discussion thread in Brawl Tactical Discussion? I've noticed very interesting things there. Inui said he is probably the best Ganon in the USA, and then someone else said "Isn't Clai better than you?" It's like the Ganon board doesn't even exist. *****es don't know. Inui switches to Ike even in low tier tournaments against good opponents, which is the only time he uses Ganon. You can't be a great Ganon if you aren't manly enough to use him in real tournaments, let alone low tier ones. Let's see him place top 5 at a real tournament and then he can say he has a great Ganon.

Inui doesn't use Ganondorf, he just pretends to. Clai is good. He got out of pools at apex (which says something), but then lost to Hylian's GDub. But really, Clai doesn't get enough credit on here. >_>

Also anybody who doesn't know Koskinator and his insanely good Ganondorf must be mental. Inui shouldn't be claiming to be top dog if he ain't got nothing to prove it.

Just ignore Inui... he's being himself. I wanted to use Ganon so bad in pools but I had three Marths and a Falco :\ Pools weren't too tough if you are good/smart. Clai is legit though, we had epic dittos <3

The tier list is mostly right in the upper parts but Low tier is usually as if people threw darts at pictures of characters on the wall.

Speaking of pools, how do they work?
http://super-smash-bros.wikia.com/wiki/Tournaments#Pools

Pools are a form of Round Robin, altered to be practical in a large event. Using this mechanism, players are split into equal-size "pools" and play a Round Robin within their respective groups. After all matches have finished, players are ranked within their pool based on the number of matches they won. Pools are usually used to narrow a large entrant field into a smaller subset for double elimination bracket play. Tournaments like the MLG circuit, MELEE-FC, and others are known for using one or more rounds of pools instead of one double elimination bracket. This guarantees more matches for every player, making the format popular with less experienced players.

You play people based on what your current win/loss record is in the pools and the best of move on. At least, I'm pretty sure that's how it works.

EDIT: Lol, never mind. Guess I should have refreshed the page before posting.

Inui did mention Kosk. That's why he said best Ganon in the USA, not the world. He's not that stupid.

I was wondering if you guys have a "true combo" forum. I don't see it and I am doubtful that you guys would have it. I know at first glance it seems like a weird forum to have, since brawl is pretty much a comboless game and combong with one of its slowest characters seems impossible. But strangely enough just messing around, I found a few "true" ganon combos. Normally, I main IC/MK, but for fun I was playing a ganon doubles match. Anyways, during the match I pulled off a lagless sh Dair into an Upsmash. It was really quick and did like forty somethin damage from just that. My friend and I were both like, "woah... wtf? Ganons a beast." So we checked it out in practice mode to see if it would be considered a two hit combo.. and it was. At around 20% you can do a lagless sh Dair into Upsmash for 44% (less if the moves are stale). Then I played around in practice mode some more and found that Dair can combo into a lot of stuff like neutral a, dtilt, ftilt, Upair, Up-B. I was wondering if he can do any other combos with his other moves? And if perhaps someone should make or has made a true combo ganondorf forum. I know Ganon is like on the bottom of the tier list, but if he has "true" combos, especially high damaging ones (44% being the best one I have been able to find... which is more then a falco chain grab), maybe that could change. Perhaps it should be looked into... Anyways thats my 2 cents.

I never pay attention to what percent my opponent is anyways. I just do basic thought processes like:
If opponent is above Ganon, hit him with an up move (like smash or air)
If they're standing on the ground f-tilt.
If they're lying on ground, d-tilt.

Crap like that, combos kinda a flow out from that though I can't say I care if they're guaranteed or anything.

Sorto, you are better off not trying to hit combos with Ganon. If the opportunity is right there, do it, but don't think too highly of combos. Generally speaking, Ganon only has about 1 option for every situation. Take that one option. Don't go for a Dair at zero if it is unlikely to work just because you can Usmash them. Go for the safer Dtilt. Ganon is all about playing as safely as possible.

Also, Dair>Usmash is only guaranteed on about 12 characters.

Ganondorf's true combo's: Forward B -> jab/dtilt/iDA/ftilt if it's garantueed = true combo, ANY PERCENT

Ganondorf is one of the few who can just use true combo's regardless of percentage... Although there are some characters on which no attack is garantueed after fB.

I can never quite spell 'garantueed' right though... I think.

I could've swore that the interweb had some sort of auto spell-checker that puts a red line under unidentifiable words as one types their post.

There's one under "could've" and "interweb" in my post for instance.
