Point number two: As of yet the exact rules of the tournament are being polled for. Given the votes it is most likely to be a singles tournament of some nature.

@Soro, You can still be Lucario I believe.
@Zeonstar, It may be a doubles tournament, but at this point it seems somewhat unlikely.

EDIT: To make things simple, if, of the options listed by FMOI, choice 1, 2, 5, or 6 wins it will be a singles tournament.
If options 3 or 4 win, it will be doubles. The official results of the poll will be posted on October 5th by FMOI. So if you are afraid it will be doubles and don't want to sign up until you know what kind of tournament this will be you can wait till then.
