It can be done with any aerial and with an air dodge too, and only on platforms that move. It won't work on Battlefield, but it'll work on Distant Planet.

Well that sucks, but I'm practicing it on Smashville anyway. I don't know the exact details of it, but it seems you need to be near the apex of your jump (whether it's jump, double jump, or ledgejump.. probably even footstools) and I can do it with just the C-stick, in fact that makes it easier. Just C-sticking down for me is what does it. It seems like it would be really useful for Fox because he's such a fast jumper/runner... unlike Kirby >_<

edit: It seems you can do it at any point of your jump :D
I couldn't do it out of a footstool, but the timing is hard and who cares

o i c, i told fox's to start using platform canceling months ago and i get ignored, now Mr.R releases a vid with it being used people wanna learn it <_< makes me sad

that's probably the difference, if people hear about it they're like "okay sounds cool" and then forget about it, but if they see it being used effectively they're like "amagad" and practice it for a little while
and then forget about it

Well good luck with that. I wish I was involved with the tournaments so I could play, but nope, I'm grounded. I need more practice, but I can't practice if I can't play. So no tournaments for me. :cry:

Sorry :( I creep like a biatch, but My life is busy with Womenz. I'm going swimming in like an hour because I wanted to see this chick in a bikini, Usually girls > Brawl ;)

edit: i just learned how to Bdacus, did it with Falco and Diddy to make sure, but Fox's seems to be the same exact distance as his normal dashing upsmash :/


gj Nakat, I would have played pretty much exactly like you did. If you learned the matchup I'm sure you can do it next time :D

I think (especially after BluB showing me) that Fox BDacus comes out a little bit faster.

Ok, so my mom was playing Basic Brawl and she was in a taunt party, but then a party crasher came. He was decently good and beating her up so she wanted me to beat him up. What ended up happening is we had a Fox ditto. The first round I was kind of warming up so the score ended up even and went to sudden death. After about 30s of us going at it, I finally landed a hit on, and killed him. Now the next round I went crazy on him and absolutely slaughtered him, 3 to -3. It was hilarious. Then he rage quit lol.
