KirbyKaze and Mango are both good but rare.
HMW/Phil are the classic duo, but I don't find that hype-centric commentary is necessarily good for someone just starting out who doesn't understand what is going on. Search for vids from the first Genesis, I would say.

I like commentators who can call a much not just scream OMG HYPE SWAG F THIS AND F THAT...while its fun for locals at major events where we are trying to make ourselves better how is that going to help when they talk about nothing?

i would've named waffles and phil before the commentary @ genesis 2
doggy is good, husband and wife are very good\professional, i can't say i've heard swiftbass (i've met him in person and he's mad chill, could def see him doing beast commentary)

*EDIT* Never mind I looked into it and that was the only set they have done commentary for Armada vs Hbox.

Waffles and Phil. Their commentary on Armada vs Hungrybox was the only good thing about that set.
Soft is pretty great.
D1 is solid.
Plan 9 needs to come back.
SFAT needs to talk more about shroomed.

I do not agree. I think they get too much of a pass. Where is the professionalism in what they do and the pride. So we want to be taken seriously but call someone a ****** at an event that we consider a big event? That is something I do not agree with.

Again there is nothing wrong with commentary that is joking but there is a place for that and Genesis is not that.

phil and home made waffles yelling at people and screaming in 08 was what hyped me into smash so well.
I could care less of informative commentary. If someone says like "oh, to do good in this match up just grab and combo" thats fine. I can watch the magic happen. But dont elaborate every move a charecter makes. I'll turn off the audio.
