@Mod : Stop moving videos threads here. It's fun to have video threads, and moved threads are disappointing. D:

Here's me vs. M2K at DA's Gauntlet tourney held 2 days ago.

WB3 Tourney Match

match 1

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MpBAOmtIvQs&feature=channel

match 2

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dNKtnRTYVKE&feature=channel

Any critiques are welcome even tho NL told me what I was doing wrong already.

Even so, the matches weren't complete **** so I hope you guys enjoyed it.

I actually really hate Falco vs. MK but am trying my hardest to figure out the matchup.

You did a great job considering who you were playing. To do that well against M2K is impressive to say the least.

And welcome back to Falco.

You roll...a lot. And you seemed desperate to get back on stage (understandable, especially given the opponent) and you phantasm on stage and get punished.

You're good man. I liked the jab canceled ftilt.

I'm just curious, what did Ninjalink tell you to work on D1?

I'm not very good at pointing out small flaws in the various nuances of play :p

I generally rely on others to do that for me.

In Japan, Anther is pretty well known. They like to use his tag whenever they use Pikachu xD.

Also, Ninjalink and SK92 seem to be fairly known because SK92 somehow got to play Japan's best marth, DISK, (wifi?) and the video was posted on a Japanese video channel. Also, Ninjalink's videos were "taken" and reuploaded on another Japanese channel lol.

I'd like to see DISK, RAIN, Bombsoldier, and Shu come to America. I know they wouldn't beat our best, just like what happened in Melee :p, but it would be cool to play them and see how their unique styles fair.

Phantasm on the edge, and it refreshes your DJ.
You can phantasm again, laser, do anything. I think it's a lightstep.

Man there was some cool stuff in that video. Niiice boost pivots.

I see wolf's side be do that a lot on the edge, but im not exactly sure how it happens.
I'm guessing you aim it right between the ledge and the stage so he seems to crash into the ledge instead of grabbing onto it.

It's crazy difficult unless you're Pure Awesome apparently. I think if it could be done consistently it would boost Falco's game more than a little. But yeah. Crazy difficult.

Are you serious when you say that you can get a 1 frame timing (3 frames, but 1 per distance) right in 10 minutes?

Thats a timing of 1/60th, to get that consistently would be near in-human.

False . . . . Everything about that post.

Xonar, I'm pretty sure it's a spacing thing, not a timing thing, so the 1/60th of a second doesn't apply. However, you probably only have like a 10 pixel window to aim for, so it's probably harder.

I think he's talking about that Cancel along the edge phantasm.

Which I time using Falco's gun strap.

Don't you just tech the edge when you run into with phantasm? I remember just hitting back on the control stick right when Falco hits the edge and I'll be able to cancel it.

Still, every stage has a slightly different ledge sweetspot, and being able to hit just under all of them is pretty hard
