I don't think Marth is that bad. If you can establish yourself as a force close up, it gets easy. And that's what happens every time.
Dash attack and grab give you enough to keep up. Nobody grabs enough in that matchup. :\
Shiek is beatable, but really freakin lame.
Ganon is a dull as **** character in every match up. Boooooring. Might as well play that Barlw game, rather watch Jiggs dittos than a match with Ganon.
No offence anyone >_>
Victoria has no patience, it's the main reason samus eats them all. But edge does know how to eat ganons after so much of it. :D
Watch any Pro Samus vs a Pro Marth. For example, M2K has Marth at it's current best and Hugs the same for Samus. Watch any match of those players, or Ken vs Hugs.
The Samus needs to be at a higher level then the Marth to win.
Maybe a first time a Marth plays a specific Samus it is possible he needs a match or two in order to start playing harsh dominate, but over all I support the fact Samus is in high disadvantage vs any Marth or Sheik strictly Character wise.
As you said though, she has a couple strong points and can win, but the advantage is strongly against her in these two match ups.
Victoria is noob at patience, but edge still knows how to out play the Ganon's very well. With all the practice from Daze and Rhett, I can tell he has a very strong sense of the character.
I still go by what I said vs Ganon after watching some of my old matches. Keep strack of there jumps and intercept once they use there second. Also note that missiles **** him.
Also one more note
Smart edge guarding: Edge guard characters like Ganon in such a way that you can fallow up after and do something else if they tech, DI and recover above, etc.
I rack up a ton of % normally while edge guarding, that is my strong point with Samus. Instead of Up-tilting anny recovery, maybe F-tilt downwards to get them away from the wall for a more guaranteed edge guard. That is generally how I think while playing match ups like Ganon.
The ganons I play just Fair and Jab missiles and force me to approach.
Samus has an advantage on the ground though.
I'm pretty sure every samus player just has a rearrangement of those 3 for their worst matchups.
Other than them, I can't complain about any matchup.
On a random side note, SHFFMC just got a LOT easier once I realized you don't have to press down all the way to FF.
LOL at SHFFMC note.
Vs Ganon try mixing up your type of missiles and they level you shoot them at. (some higher then others, some lower)
