I give it a 3/5. For me, they did a really ****ty job at explaining what the Wii-U is. Plus I really wasn't that impressed with any of the games they showed.

I give the conference a 8/10.

Lots of great things were announced at the conference, but a few things did end up bothering me, like the pointless Pokedex announcement and the lack of Nintendo announcements made for the platform.

The console still won't be due until Winter 2012 (that's when it's projected). So I'm sure the price will come next year.

I feel like the reason a lot of us are skeptical about the new controller is because Nintendo did a poor job presenting what it can truly do.

I'm worried though. Smash 4 on BOTH the 3ds and Wii-u? sounds like the Wii-u version might get nerfed in graphical power.

Not necessarily, there's been games on the GBA that worked with the GC versions and they were different. Not to mention there's no reason why the console can't have extra effects and more detailed models while the handheld has less but they still communicate, much like how 2 computers with different graphic settings can play the same game together.
