I find it odd that neither the pokemon remakes nor Kirby was mentioned.

I wonder why they dropped so many old IPs.

i've been a nintendo fan all my life, bought every system that came out, and after this conference, i've come to realize that nintendo just isn't the same anymore. I saw 3 maybe 4 games out of all those that I'd think about buying. There's absolutely nothing exciting coming out other than that new metroid, and thats not coming out till next year. If nothing big is announced in the next 3 months, im selling my wii, utterly sad.

Metroid was a nice surprise to an otherwise fail conference. "First time mario is 4 player" Evidently Nintendo's forgotten the Mario Bros on GBA? And why in the hell use FREAKING TOADS instead of the Wa- Brothers.

There's always old Gamecube games, I'm keeping my Wii around because I have a bunch of old games I play from time to time but other than that the Wii doesn't have much to offer me, I might look into Metroid but there's nothing else.

That's just how it goes. Lots of uninteresting announcements but two or three games that are so exciting, they make up for the dull parts.

It isnt just that. Where is the capability to talk to people you dont know? Where are the eight people parties? Online is a huge social experience and Ninty completely shunts that.

I didn't watch that one. I had never even heard of E3 until 2006, when I actually got serious about Nintendo games. What did they announce then?

The fact that they didn't have Zelda surprised me A LOT. I'm guessing they will announce it next year when it will come out withing that year.

I have to say I didn't expect much, especially when they started with Wii sports resort. When I saw they had gone over their time I thought, eh, some golden sun, Mario bros, that's ok. Better the last year, but I must say: Nintendo didn't just fulfill my low expectations, they actually very much impressed me. I was like "you better say another Mario game" when they talked about all their other mario games they announced.
Definitely not bad, and I think Nintendo is on par with Microsoft I have to say. I know you may disagree, but not only was it not a dissapointment like last year, it got me exited to have a Wii since the conduit,
