So... I have a lot of trouble killing with the doc unless it's by using the cape or crouch cancelling > dsmash. Is there any reliable way to get kills outside of that?

Throw -> fair on 96% of the cast. Bair. Fsmash. Ftilt is good for knocking people offstage, and if they get hit by it without a double jump they are probably dead

Uthrow on Fox/Falco/Falcon from around 90-120ish
Dthrow on the rest of the cast, and spacies after 120%

never underestimate how strong doc's backthrow is. it can easily be a kill move if used right. and if it doesnt kill, then you have an edgeguard assuming theyre off the stage. also look for gimping opprotunities, as doc has great gimping tools

It only kills if they are long overdue on yoshi's or they have some seriously bad DI because of the windup. Still, if it gets them offstage it is probably worth it.

So for the jiggs MU... you throw lots of pills to control space. Lots of nairs and D-smash?

And Kobe to be a badass...
Only do deceptive n-airs. Doc's nairs are beaten pretty easily by Jiggs b-air.

The f-airs (or Kobe or whatever you wanna call it) need to be deceptive as well. The f-air has a decent hitbox, but with relatively awful start up.

one thing you can do to get your own bairs to cover more ground is to wavedash and immediately jump and bair in the direction that you wavedashed in. this makes it easier to space against jiggs. watch shroomed use bairs vs hbox in apex 2012 if you dont know what im talking about. full hop nairs are good too, if you go above where you think they are going to go and let the hitbox stay out for a while

I have trouble landing Dthrow->Fair when people DI behind me. Is turnaround-Fair fast enough? Also, tips for landing kills/edgeguards on Peach? I have a hard time comboing into Fair, cc-Dsmashes are risky, and Bair gimps don't come as easily.

Try the following.

-If they hard DI behind you, a quick dash input in the opposite direction, followed by an immediate full hop fair should connect.
- Slight DI behind, you can turn around and then FH fair,
- Or you can dash forward and DD back into a FH fair. These methods are particularly good on platforms for when they DI behind and you don't have a lot of room for a running start.

Who are you having a hard time connecting throw -> fair on?

Be patient vs. Peach. If you try to fight her heads up, she will win since she benefits way more from trades. Platform camp, throw lots of pills and safe pokes (ftilts/utilts/bairs/uairs) and DO NOT overcommit unless you wanna eat a nair.

Hmm makes sense. The window is pretty tight but it's def a solid option. Seems like you might get ***** for it if you do it at too low of a % tho cause she can just nair you out of your lag.
