I started using doc as a secondary and I have been watching lots of doc vids to try to see how he is played. Im starting to get the idea of the movements and combo potential on some of the characters. I live in a small town where only two people play smash competitively, so most practice i get is against computers.
Is there any advice someone could give just on some things i should really work at?

just hyper-train inside your mental cavity. Work on rendering melee in your mind and play vs. yourself. If you can harness all of your mental powers and pit your mental-doc vs your mental-main you may find that you can carve a mental game so deep no one can touch you.

I had a dream last night that I was back at APEX 2, but the whole time I knew it was a dream. The funny thing about it though is that I saw Inception again yesterday.

PandaCobo, I recommend that you practice all of your technical skill on level 4 CPUs (I've seen someone practice against a level 3 CPU before as well but can't remember why). When you get the chance to play someone that is a competitive smash player, practice your mindgames, smarts, option choices and reads (the psychology and reverse-psychology aspects of melee). Also, incorporate spacing throughout your entire game. I recommend, if you haven't already, to look up Wobbles' "The Four Aspects of Melee" and read the entire thing. It's one of the many threads that will change the way you play the game.

There are a lot of Doc. techs you should be practicing such as PTP, SHBAWD, etc. Have you seen my Doc. how to play video yet? It's called "The Doctor's Checkup" and should be a link in Cyphus' guide. Those are all the Doc. techs you will need.

I'm starting to smoke a bit again, but I really hate what it does to my lungs. Not just the smoke, but germs build up really quickly (especially in bongs) and I really hate getting sick. If I continue I will probably be investing in a vaporizor.

I just don't let sick people hit my bong, 99% rubbing alcohol and salt will clean it spotless, RedEye FTW :) I find my lungs only get bad if I smoke alot of Blunts

Why is that unfortunate otg?

Idk, i think i have sensitive lungs or a weak immune system. I get URIs from smoking when I don't share my piece and even shortly after cleaning it (same day or within days). Back in the day I just dealt with it and took a lot of mucinex to keep from having to go to the doc

My stint with sobriety was quite a good one and I felt I gained a lot from it. I smoke way less than I used to and I don't smoke everyday, but even going back a lil bit seems lame.
