i was playin reverse matchups with some guy and it was my falco vs his doc, and he would just upsmash for what he admitted was for no reason, **** was destroying me, anybody have success with mindless usmash spam or am i just a Bad Falco™?

I've been using USmash with my doc a little more. ****'s weird, and cuts through things you wouldn't think that it would.

You're the one who made it a revenge best of 3, and we went to Yoshi's Story (read: the best stage for Roy in the match-up) twice. DSR makes the set invalid.

it's not bad, but it aint the greatest thing in the world. I'd still rather have mario's upsmash than docs.

I've always loved the logic that the smallest stage in the game is the best stage for the character with the worst recovery in the game.
I also like how that logic existed even when green greens was legal.
just so you know, most of MN agrees that DK does **** Roy, but it was fun to see Chexr troll you lol. you got pretty mad

DK definitely beats roy, because roy is way worse then him. By how much is a different story.

was i really mad? i was 15. lmao. i was more upset that I was sucking hard enough to get ***** by a Roy. I know DK ***** Roy, it's at least 67.5/32.5
Donkey Kong player doesn't know the Roy vs. DK match-up, I guess, while Godgysamich knows ALL!

i thought this was the doc boards
well i've seen it quite a few times, but to be honest, the logic is
if yoshi's story is a great stage cause it's so easy to get people off the stage, why in gods name would the character with the worst recovery in the game like it? Especially against a character who can grab you from anywhere and toss you off the stage or into free damage?

With Roy vs DK on Yoshi Story, I have some advice:
-Combo him like you would Fox/CF/Falco. Grab, fthrow up, uair till infinity
-Learn to l-cancel. Then start using platforms to make your already stupid combos even dumber.
-I ~might~ be wrong about this, but since freestyle bs combos are kinda my thing, I think you can get away with doing like... uair shenanigans into waveland usmash/upb/dk punch/dsmash (does it hit above him in this game? I forget), ala Falco.
-Again, might be wrong, but I think your sh uairs hit people on the bottom platforms, right? Get people up there and harass them.
I think I was just counter trolling your trolling, but I dunno. Still waking up and a little drunkish, so whatever.
Or he gets dsmashed. Like... A billion times in under 2 min.
Pretty sure m2k's right. Doc's dsmash>>>shine. Mmhmm.
