9: Headbands Are really cool dog (Soma): gggs, I think you're a lot better at the MK MU than snake but I still could've won if I had any mental discipline and didn't get so greedy, pretty sure you couldn't have recovered that lead if I had let it go to time(for that matter I probably had like 20 ledge grabs left and 30 seconds to go but I'm not enough of an ******* to do it). stuff like that kinda makes me want to quit the game sometimes because I just have a more aggressive mindset but barwl is barwl and it doesn't really work :/

i feel as if i just got lucky game 2 and had a better mindset entering game 3, also imo delfino has so many benifits for diddy, but i can see why it be a great cp as well for mk. diddy kills early though on delfino and has all ways of nanna locking or getting dtilt locks, early spikes in water. I still think if youd beat me youd defintly woudlve givin bizkit a harder time, as soon as i played a snake after playing an mk my playstyle just forced me to try risky things

thanks etecoon.. i keep feeling like i wanna pick up mk, or just get more consistent with falco vs snakes.. been practicing mk alot more for dubz than diddy, and falco i use more than diddy half the time, but i try to think more tech savy too much which is my biggest downfall with falco

Hmm, I definitely left the scene and things have changed dramatically. I went to this tournament with high hopes, I guess I need a lot of work. Since I quit in 2008 I haven't played much Smash at all, my last tourney being in summer of 2008. Things have changed, I remember getting eliminated by Bloodcross at a tournament in Greenfield, years ago.. we were dead even then, but now I'm not even close. My metagame is almost subpar what it once was. Being a G&W mainer is getting harder and harder. He seems to be dropping, but I have high hopes. Overall I'd say I performed adequately considering the circumstances. I fought KoolAid first round... that ended in ****... LOL...

Is there anybody in western MA who would like to train with me sometime?

for those of you who may not remember me... I'm S.B.Soldier, and used to be an active member of smashboards, Melee tournaments, and the early Brawl scene. I left the community because of personal issues that took time and priority over my smash life. I guess what's left to say would be thanks for giving me the opportunity to partake in a fun tournament, and I'm sure you will see me again sometime in the future...

KoolAid - That money match was hilarious. But thanks for spotting me man. This tourney was what I needed to get out of my recent state of feeling ****ty after the job stuff so helping me out was pretty awesome. Snake vs Diddy MMs are always friggin' hilarious.

Fats - You're the man and make Brawl stupid fun.

Icy - Really enjoyed playing Melee with you guys, despite how terribad I am. I ended up going with Hobo/Sails and playing Melee like all night afterward. Lol. We should try teaming in friendlies before a tourney and see if there's any chemistry there.

Chii/Eric - Always awesome seeing you guys. I miss being able to go to all the smashfests, and I'm totally jealous of all the Brawl+ you've been playing Chii.

Riot - I think you are officially the coolest person in New England cause you own the best shirts, play Zelda and doesn't afraid of anything that isn't singles. Thanks for helping me work on my sheik before the tourney. I went almost 50/50 Sheik/Diddy and still placed decently.

Bizkit - Can I please be seeded vs someone other than KoolAid. Like I legit end up playing him second round every tourney and than run into someone from my crew half the time in losers. It'd be nice to lose to like Fatal/BC/You or someone else. lol.

Hobo/Sails - Good ****. Thanks a lot for bringing me and Melee time after was stupid fun. And sails, thanks for the TBell. Yesterday was a good day and I needed it really badly.
