There are a couple I could see, TBF (and Nintendo's more minor and "minor" series could certainly benefit from the increase in manpower and dev teams available to develop said games - see Donkey Kong), but that's one of them yes.

Not particularly defending the claims from Zippo, but I don’t really get why people are so nasty about leakers who get a few things wrong. Zippo has also gotten a few things right - as always, these guys are generally not the direct source but are reporting information from people who they trust.

And sometimes that information goes south. Vergeben has been wrong before and (reasonable) people aren’t going around saying he’s not worth jack. Just go into this stuff with a grain of salt by default but understand there’s nuance to this sort of thing and it’s usually not some dude making random **** up if they’ve outright had legitimate information / sources before.

I hate to be the one defending leakers / “insiders” but I’m a little surprised people still don’t really grasp that.

Dee is without question the next fighter from the Kirby series if we get one. I just personally doubt Nintendo is very interested in bringing him as the trend of first parties in Ultimate dlc has been to bring attention to newer Nintendo franchises.

Sorry, I meant to say titles not franchises. XB2 and 3H are newer Switch titles. I don’t really see them promoting Kirby in the same way.

To be fair, the three examples you gave are all from Switch original games so it's kinda telling where Nintendo's priorities lie.

Not saying we can't get older Nintendo characters but the track record of the Ultimate DLC so far is the exact opposite of a good indication for them.

Vergeben I would say was at his best leaking Smash

In other Games, While he does also leak some correct things (His first major leak was TMNT in Injustice 2) alot of the time, he either had some misleading info or just wrong info, and even would piggyback. If you saw te situation with FighterZ for example, I think people would be more critical of Vergeben

I think with Smash, Vergeben either got better sources or was better at vetting certain claims and not just spilling out the first things he is told

Also, in regards to Zippo, One of the Mods on a Popular Sonic forum did state that Zippo did mention Sonic Colors Ultimate to them before the game was leaked on retailer site

After giving the current roster another look, I noticed that there are no elderly characters in it. That leads me to a new question for everyone: What elderly characters would make great additions? My picks:

Peppy Hare ( I don't know if he's old enough to be a senior citizen in Star Fox 64 and Adventures, but I do know he is in Assault and Command)
Drampa (though since it's a species of Pokemon, I'm not sure if it qualifies; after all, there do exist young Drampas in the Pokeverse)

Arlon
Tortimer
Old Snake (as an alternate costume of Solid Snake)
Dr. Eggman (if you ttake into account the lore of Space Colony ARK as well as Gerald Robotnik, then he's pretty likely to be an elder)

I really want to see a Master Xehanort transformation style character where he transforms into both Ansem and Xemnas. I love Kingdom Hearts but I’ve always vastly preferred the villains over Sora personally.

It's one of the two leaks that mentioned the new Mario+Rabbids game.


One outright said that CP10 is Rayman, the other only said it's an Ubisoft rep, but the latter said that CP10 drops "In Fall."



I kinda find it very hard to believe that they'd make us wait 6 months between P/M and supposedly Rayman unless they somehow ran into ARMs-level of character difficulty.
