I managed a quite big list of names: Shang-Chi, Winter Soldier, Vision, Black Widow, Iron Fist, Heracles, Namor (ESPECIALLY Namor, I decided to indage more in him after watch Wakanda Forever and I already have quite an idea in mind, being more of a powerhouse rushdown in comparison to Aquaman's more zoning nature). This big number comes from the fact that near all heroes where Avengers in one moment or another so isn't really to difficult think in one but in the end I decided to go with...

MOON KNIGHT
Once forming part of both the West Coast Avengers and the Secret Avengers, Marc Spector better know as Moon Knight is a character that recently blew a big fanbase thanks to his solo series in the MCU, even then to be fair Moon Knight was always quite a fan favorite having a big number of runs in his list (the ones of Ellis and Lemire being the top bests overall).

One of his most fascinating atributes is his personality, or better say, his multiple ones; while Marc Spector is usually considered his main personahe also have other two main personalities who helps him in his fight against the crime, Steve Grant who is a Bruce Wayne-like millonaire who gives him information about the richers and Jake Lockey who is a taxist that does the same as Steve Grant but in the lowest strates of society. Sometimes Moon Knight itself works as a different personality alongside his other identity of Mr. Knight that he create to cooperate with the police while Moon Knight was in charge of the crimes that not even the Law could reach.

He is also usually reffered to "Marvel's Batman" due his Steve Grant persona and paraphernallia, mainly his Crescent Darts that strongly resembles Batarangs even if unlike Bruce he usually shoots them with a gun. While the similitudes can't be avoided, Moon Knight is widely different to Batman especially considering his mystic connection to Khonshu, the one who revided him and gave him the mantle of the Moon Knight and his Fist.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Before jumping to the moveset, due previous nominations I think most people was thinking on some sort of stance system, while there it is something similar I decided to not make it his main ability for 3 different reasons:
  • Similitudes with The Sentry who was also DLC
  • Unnecesary Complex
  • Mr. Knight would work better as is own costume
Afters this FYI, let's start with...
MOON KNIGHT MOVESET
Moon Knight is an adaptative fighter whose gameplan consist on raise his strength during the match while avoiding the opponent's attacks. He isn't a complete zoner but also not a complete rushdown being sort of an unorthodox all-rounder.

Unique Ability: Moon Level
Marc Spector gains more power in the moonlight, with his unique ability he can canalize the power of Khonshu to aument his power in the form of stocks, each 3 stocks forms their own level, these stocks can be either used passively using the buffs that provides each level or to enhance his attacks pressing an attack button + the UA Button. Each level has is own name.
  • New Moon: Or "Level 0", is the base level where you start without any class of empowerement.
  • Crescent Moon: Or "Level 1", increase slightly the movement speed of Moon Knight.
  • Half Moon: Or "Level 2", allows double jump.
  • Full Moon: Or "Level 3", increase noticeable the meter generation of Moon Knight.
Additionaly, Moon Knight can wall-jump and glide using his cape.

Marc Spector (AKA Moon Knight) is a Marvel superhero,he is served as a Force Recon marine and briefly as a CIA operative before becoming a mercenary, also Marc have more two personalities, his two personalities are Steven Grant and Jake Lockley. Outside in the comics,he apperars in two spider-man cartoons, some video games as Marvel Ultimate Alliance and Marvel Avengers Alliance and a live-action series solo from MCU.

Glad to see the enthusiasm for the character! (I've only read the Warren Ellis run and watched the Disney Plus show) One of you might have to change, though the two posts can support each other like what happened with Cyborg (where one person nominated him and another posted a moveset in support of that nomination).

I resubmitt Gwenpool, who was part of the West Coast Avengers in a short but fun run. Even if she is in a odd place in the continuity basically being relegated to a secondary character of the comics of HIS OWN MASCOT she is still quite a favorite especially in the japanese fandom (that if this game was made by a company like Capcom or Arc System Works is a target that they would like to please). She is more than just Gwen with a Deadpool suit, especially since she isn't neither Gwen Stacy or Deadpool, she is her own character that unlike Deadpool whose 4th Wall powers are more of a joke used for humour she use her 4th Wall Awareness in a weaponized way being able to traspass the boundaries of the comic panels....that the games doesn't have but you know....creatie liberties!!!!!!!!!
1668473467318.png

Also she can pair with the best Hawkeye and the Ghost Rider that near kidnapped her! (...yeah maybe the last thing isn't too much emotionant but heeeeey they can ride together!!!!!
Anyway, I managed to convince my cousin to help to make a moveset this time too! I hope this could increase her chances

For her Unique Ability, it would be called "It's Jeff!", where she calls her landshark mascot Jeff who uses a KNIFE to attack the opponent, his attack ignores blocks and hits low and makes the opponent fall to the ground where Gwenpool can beat the **** out of them.
1668473613601.jpeg

For her special moves, she have the following ones:
  • SLASH!: Mashing the button makes Gwen quickly attack with her katanas with myriad slashes like Meta Knight's jab in Smash.
  • BANG!: Using the Hadouken motion allows Gwenpool to use a pair of submachine guns, thought due her lack of marksmanship experience she ends shooting to all places while falling to the floor.
  • Next Page!: Gwen summons a comic panel to traspass to another one that appears either at front, at back or up the opponent similar to Faust's door teleport move in Guilty Gear.
  • Ghost Hacking!: Using a Half Circle Forward motion Gwen summons her best and only ghost friend Cecil who after clash the opponent paralyze them disabling their specials and unique actions for a while.
  • Silence!: Using a Reverse Shoryuken motion and her Unique Action button Gwenpool can catch the opponent's SFX to nullify their attacks working as a parry.
  • Eat This!: Pressing down twice when the opponent is down allows Gwen to finish them stomping on them and launching a rocket to their faces. The explosion makes both Gwen and the opponent move back.
  • Batroc Enters In the Scene!!!: One of her level 1 (with double hadouken + light button) supers calls her friend and mentor Batroc the Leaper who beats the opponent jumping into them multiple times.
  • Mega Tony Aids In the Battle!!!: Another one of her level 1 supers (instead of light button use medium) calls another one of her friends, Mega Tony, who heals Gwenpool's health to a fixed amount of a half of her total damage received in the previous 30 seconds.
  • Terrible Eye Curse Them All!!!: Using the strong button this time, in this level 1 Gwen summons her friend Terrible Eye who casts a cursing spell that drains the health of the opponent slowly.
  • Artistic Licenses - Reality: A fullscreen level 2 super where Gwen leaves the "panel" of the stage jumping at the corner, then her giant hand appears with a pencil and starts to draw an entire arsenal out of thin air, when she finishes the weapons turn to life and they attack the opponent all at once, the move is SLOW AS HELL and it can only be practical if you stun the opponent before jumping.
  • BEYOND THE FOURTH WALL: Gwen uses her motorcycle to push the opponent out of the boundaries of the stage, then they continue their fight outside with multiple panels in the floor that shows other fights (cutscenes of the story mode, arcade endings and even some original ones), then she push the oppoonent to the edge of those panels with a Daredevil certified kick vanishing them for reality....but then you remind that any of these characters can die so a huge title appears of a tornado that creates more panels sentencing X CAN'T DIE (with X replacing the aforemented opponent) and drags them just fine to the stage where Gwen also goes to continue the fight. Thought if the battle did end with the super...maybe they DID dissapear out of reality....yikes.

I could change it since has I say I already have ideas for others...but I think I prefer mantain my nomniation, maybe DragonRobot would change it tho.

Also Ellis is the best run period, basically he upgraded the character from a batman with multiple personalities to the character that we know.

Hey all; First post on this particular thread. I've been a lurker for quite a while, but haven't really felt confident enough in my Marvel/DC knowledge to contribute. Here's hoping that'll change with this submission, though...

Avengers Character: She-Hulk

Cousin of one Bruce Banner, Jennifer Walters recieved a blood transfusion from him and inherited a milder version of his Hulk condition. While She-Hulk is just as strong as her cousin, she has much more self-control than the irate Hulk, maintaining her sense of self and intelligence. Aside from being a member of the Avengers, she's also been involved with the Fantastic Four, Heroes for Hire, the Defenders, Fantastic Force and S.H.I.E.L.D. She's also a lawyer. That's quite a resume!

She-Hulk is a fairly popular character among Marvel fans, with her making lots of appearances in media and even gaining her own Disney+ show this year, with more MCU appearances planned according to Kevin Feige.

I don't have a specific moveset in mind for She-Hulk, but I imagine her as a lightning-bruiser; Faster than her cousin, but hitting just as hard. I could also see her borrowing a few of the Hulk's moves, such as the Sonic Clap. Most of her moveset would be unique to her, though.

Resubmitting Luke Cage. He's been a member of various Avenger teams at this point. Admittedly some of this write up doesn't apply to this round. But I still think he's a character who we could have a lot of fun with.

Luke Cage
While he doesn't go by this mantle as much anymore. Luke Cage was known for a long time as "Power Man!" But Luke was not the first person to take that mantle, nor the last. He fought the first person to use that name, Erik Josten, for the right to use it.

Luke is a popular character who I think would be cool to have. He could have a really fun movrset, obviously using his super stengh. His personalty would lead to some interesting interactions.

THE BLACK KNIGHT
Alias:
First Appearance: The Avengers #47 (December, 1967)

Due to time constraints I will make a separate post for the Black Knight himself.
BLACK KNIGHT MOVESET
General Playstyle
The Black Knight is a high-risk, high-reward technical based fighter with an emphasis on absolute precision and fighting prowess in the hopes of having any success in a fight. When handled poorly by a player, failure is gauranteed, but if handled properly, the Black Knight is unbeatable.

Unique Ability - Curse of the Ebony Blade
The signature weapon of the Black Knight, carved from the Starstone meteorite by the wizard Merlin; the Ebony Blade is a mighty sword that has been passed down for generations, wielded by the Whitman bloodline and those who carry the mantle of the Black Knight. However, it's dark properties bring with it a curse... for only those impure of heart may wield it, and thus the blade feeds on their negative emotions, corrupting them to become violent, bloodlust warmongers, in exchange for the true might of both the user and the sword being strengthened.

The Black Knight has a Bloodlust Meter that fills up for every attack he lands. By striking the opponent with the Ebony Blade, he taints the sword with blood and fuels its power of corruption. Once the meter is full, it automatically engages a powered state within Dane, as the sword wraps itself in swirls of blood; The Black Knight's attack and speed is now increased by 50%, and for every subsequent filling of the Bloodlust Meter, it will increase by another 10%.
However, for every increase in power, the curse takes its toll and Dane's moral code, which is represented through his health bar, as it will automatically reduce in exchange for the power of the Ebony Blade; At first by 30%, then by a following 5% each time.

The player has no choice in this; By choosing to be the Black Knight, by wielding the Ebony Blade to draw the blood of our roster of heroes, they knowingly inflict themselves with the curse of the sword, and must pay its price. Be warned, player, for only those truly worthy of the Black Knight mantle may claim victory.

In addition to this, Black Knight has resistance to any magic attacks.

Special Move NameInputDescription
Taste of Thy SoulQCF + XDane lunges forward and thrusts the Ebony Blade towards the opponent, with the intention of impaling them. Should this land, the Ebony Blade will then absorb the soul of the opponent and power itself up, with Dane following up with a boosted-damage slash

This essentially acts as a two-hit attack, dependent on if the first lands
Flurry BlastHCF + XThe Ebony Sword gloes as Dane begins to rushdown the area in front of him with a flurry of multiple sword slash, regardless of whether the opponent is caught in them or not, and the blast emits a series of area-of-effect discharges for every single slash, acting as destructive projectile.

This move is on a cooldown
Perfect DeflectionDP + X + DirectionalDane stands in a fighting stance with two hands on the sword; The player must now use the right analog stick to angle the sword whilst Dane is left in the open.
Any angle will allow the sword to reflect any projectile or energy based attack, and cancel the move. But, if the sword is angled perfectly to hit the edge of the hitbox any attack (except for Supers), Dane will absorb the energy from that attack and increase his damage output without sacrificing his health.

This move can be canceled at any time
Toxic Chalice
(Counter)
Down, Down + XDane takes a sip from the cursed Ebony Chalice, forged from the same meteorite as the Ebony Blade.
This instills Dane with the knowledge of any fore-coming attack from the opponent, at the cost of 2% his health. Dane will then automatically counter the next special attack the opponent makes (if he is within range), leaving an opening for the player to combo them.
Shield of NightBack, Forth + XDane equips himself with his self-made Shield of Night, and mightily bashes the opponent across the stage in a single high knockback attack
Mighty BladeHCB + XDane raises the Ebony Blade high in the air as a dark blast of mystic energy strikes it, increasing its power. Dane then strikes the ground in front of him, creating a large shockwave and leaving a crack within the stage's ground.

Any opponents caught in this initial shockwave will not receive any knockback, but instead are temporarily stunned by the dark magic, leaving an opening for Dane. This is in addition to initial damage taken from the sword striking the ground.

This move is on a cooldown
Shrouded Malice (Bloodlust Meter)RDP + XActive only when Dane has entered Bloodlust mode, activating this move will result in Dane being able to fly; This results in him being covered in a dark, mystical cloud, of which will slowly damage the opponent ala poison if they are caught within it.
When flying, Black Knight's speed and air mobility are increased.
This move is temporary and is on a high cooldown

Super Move NameInputDescription
Level 1 - Winged Steed2QCF + XDane points the Ebony Blade in the air as it shines with light; Suddenly, his noble steed, Strider, elegantly flies onto the stage. Dane hops on as Strider spreads his wings and flies across the stage at a super-sonic speed whilst Dane swings his sword, dealing heavy damage before Strider exits the battle.
Level 1 - Healing Properties2QCB + XThe Ebony Blade releases a magical glow as Dane now gains the healing properties granted to him by the wizard Merlin.
For the next 30 seconds, every wound Dane receives will gradually heal over the course of the match, restoring his health.
Level 2 - Brazier of Truth2DP + XThe Ebony Blade glows fire as Dane slashes the ground in front of him and ignites it, resulting in a huge pillar of flame spouting from the ground; From this, Dane's ancestor, Sir Percy (the first Black Knight), appears in spirit, and together they attack the opponent in a dual slash before Percy disappears
Level 3 - Realm of the Ebony Blade (Cinematic)All Buttons PressedDane magically charges the Ebony Blade and strikes the ground in front of him, creating a small shockwave. If the opponent is caught in this attack, the Cinematic starts.

The opponent, currently struck down, would attempt to return to fighting stance, only to see the Ebony Blade is now being cast in a sinister glow of dark magic. Dane's eyes are shot with blood as he uses the full anger to the Ebony Blade to instantaneously strike the opponent, stabbing them through the heart.

They wake up within a realm of pure black, looking around to see what else is there. They have entered the realm that exists inside the Ebony Blade, where all the slain souls reside; Yes, the slain souls of demon knights and villains that now appear behind the opponent, ready to unleash the years of unbound hatred that has been built up from their eternal imprisonment. They all attack the opponent whilst they're trapped within the sword, overwhelming them with their sheer numbers.
Suddenly, in the living world, the opponent regains consciousness, waking up within their living body but with the feeling of ethereal pain in them. They health reduces as the Black Knight stands triumphantly over them, the bloodlust in eyes still raging.

Reasons for Inclusion
  • Lore-Important Marvel character
  • Not in any Marvel Fighting or UA game
  • Has relations to Knull, whom is in the game as a boss
  • Major member of the Avengers team
  • Represents his own series
  • Lesser-known, unexpected Marvel hero
  • We're in need of more Marvel magic fighters

Apologies if this set-up and nomination was sloppy; I'm at a surgery consultation so things aren't in my favor right now.

I'm going to leave this open, at least. (if Infinity Sorcerer doesn't have a moveset idea, then I'm fine with sticking with 1SecondNinja's moveset)

Job 246: nominate costumes for Peacemaker

Feel free to take the costumes from whatever source you want. As usual, we'll go with one default costume and up to seven alternate costumes.
I'm fine with his moveset yeah, my knowledge about the character isn't too big to say otherwise.

Da votes:
  1. Moon Knight
  2. Black Knight
  3. Ant-Man
Kudos for Gwenpool tho, if wasn't because I like a lot the idea of Black Knight I would vote for her instead.

Peacemaker costumes:

1. Default

2. Kingdom Come

3. Biker

4. 90's
peacemaker.png

5. Incognito

6. Copycat
(just the armour)

7. Mitchell Black
(just the costume)

8. The Comedian
(just the costume)

Regardless of the headgear or lack thereof on a given outfit, he still has his normal helmet and weapons.

Most of the images that I could find were his normal outfit, so I had to get creative with this list. (I'm not sure if the Comedian is too much of a stretch, but he was inspired by Peacemaker, so I figured it would work as a reference)

I'm going to go through the thread and update the Google Doc with the character interactions on it, and also, I'll see what I can come up with for the newest additions; last time I did this, Star-Lord hadn't been added, so it's been a bit. (I have ideas for the following characters, but it's getting late, so I'll edit them into this post in the morning)

Leonardo vs. Batman

Leo: "Ready to see what I've learned?"
Batman: "Show me."
Leo: "All right, Leo, you can do this..."

Leonardo vs. Nightwing

Leonardo vs. Ra's al Ghul

Leonardo vs. Green Arrow

Leonardo vs. Deathstroke

Leo: "You strike me as someone who's very skilled."
Deathstroke: "I've mastered countless weapons - you can't compete."
Leo: "You'll make an excellent test to see how far I've come."

Leonardo vs. Blue Beetle

Leonardo vs. Wolverine

Leonardo vs. Captain America

Leonardo vs. the Hulk

Leo: "You make Raphael seem calm and controlled."
Hulk: "GRAAAAARGH!"
Leo: "When this is over, I'll have to teach you some meditation techniques."

Leonardo vs. Black Panther

Leo: "How did you sneak up on me?"
T'Challa: "Ninjas aren't the only masters of stealth."
Leo: "You have to show me."

Leonardo vs. Deadpool

Deadpool: "Hey, quit copying me! Having two swords is my thing!"
Leo: "You're a disgrace to the term 'ninja'."
Deadpool: "Go ninja, go ninja, go!"

Leonardo vs. Daredevil

Leonardo vs. Doctor Octopus

Doc Ock: "Interesting - and what are you supposed to be?"
Leo: "Just your average teenage mutant ninja turtle."
Doc Ock: "Don't sell yourself short, my shelled friend!"

Leonardo vs. Gorilla Grodd

Leo: "Let me guess - Rocksteady and Bebop got a new partner?"
Grodd: "I work alone."
Leo: "You seem smarter than them - not that that's a high bar to clear."

Leonardo vs. Donatello

Leo: "Come on, Donnie - you need to get out of the lab once in a while."
Donnie: "Sure, but could we do something other than sparring?"
Leo: "Hey - it's good exercise!"

Leonardo vs. Raphael

Leo: "Raph, you know how important training is."
Raph: "You know what's a better way of training? Going out there and kicking Foot Clan butt!"
Leo: "Master Splinter doesn't think so, and neither do I."

Leonardo vs. Michelangelo

Leo: "Mikey, you need to focus!"
Mikey: "Dude, I could be gaming right now!"
Leo: "Shredder won't wait for you to pause it."

Donatello vs. Batman

Donnie: "I feel like I'm just holding my brothers back."
Batman: "Focus on your strengths, Donatello."
Donnie: "Brains are all well and good, but I should focus on my brawn from time to time."

Donatello vs. the Flash

Donnie: "You must burn a ton of calories, moving that fast."
Flash: "I eat a lot of fast food."
Donnie: "...I'm not sure if that was a terrible pun or a serious answer."

Donatello vs. Lex Luthor

Donnie: "You've seen one mad scientist, you've seen them all."
Lex: "Slanderous nonsense."
Donnie: "The giant anti-Superman robots that LexCorp makes say otherwise."

Donatello vs. Starro

Donnie: "You're much larger than any starfish I've ever seen..."
Starro: "I am no mere starfish!"
Donnie: "And telepathic too? That's new."

Donatello vs. Iron Man

Donnie: "I have my doubts that the name 'Iron Man' is completely accurate."
Tony: "The composition of my armour doesn't exactly roll off the tongue."
Donnie: "Time to see how tough it is!"

Donatello vs. Black Panther

Donnie: "I could make so many improvements to the Turtle Van with your tech!"
T'Challa: "Our research is kept secret for a reason."
Donnie: "Come on, just a little glimpse?"

Donatello vs. the Thing

The Thing: "A talkin' turtle, huh? Must be Wednesday."
Donnie: "Sentient stone isn't new either, but are you extra-terrestrial or homegrown?"
The Thing: "An' even the talkin' turtles have their own Reed. Great."

Donatello vs. Doctor Octopus

Donnie: "Well, that's disappointing."
Doc Ock: "Don't tell me you were expecting an octopus with a doctorate!"
Donnie: "When you've seen what I've seen, not much can surprise you."

Donatello vs. Venom

Donnie: "Fascinating... Is that some kind of bio-organic armour, or an alien parasite?"
Venom: "Don't call us a parasite!"
Donnie: "Think I touched a nerve..."

Donatello vs. Rocket and Groot

Donnie: "Fascinating - mutagen used on a raccoon isn't much of a stretch, but I've never seen it used on a tree."
Rocket: "I ain't a raccoon!" (Groot: "I am Groot.")
Donnie: "Uh... have you looked in a mirror recently?"

Donatello vs. Ultron

Donnie: "What are you made out of? It doesn't look like any metal I've ever seen..."
Ultron: "I am composed of adamantium, which means that I am indestructible."
Donnie: "We'll see about that..."

Donatello vs. Raphael

Donnie: "It took me weeks to build that strength tester!"
Raph: "You should've made it out of tougher stuff!"
Donnie: "Intact Mouser parts are hard to come by."

Donatello vs. Michelangelo

Donnie: "Master Splinter's going to be upset if you're slacking on your training."
Mikey: "You train your way, I train my way!"
Donnie: "Eating pizza and reading comics doesn't count as training."

Raphael vs. Batman

Batman: "You need to work on your attitude."
Raph: "Yeah, like you're gonna be any help with that."
Batman: "If I can get Jason to follow orders, I can get you to."

Raphael vs. Green Lantern

Hal: "Batman sent me to work on your control."
Raph: "He can take that 'control' junk and shove it up his--"
Hal: "With an attitude like that, I'm surprised a Red Lantern ring hasn't shown up for you."

Raphael vs. Deathstroke

Deathstroke: "Shredder put a bounty on your head - I'm here to collect."
Raph: "Try it, and you'll lose your other eye."
Deathstroke: "You're nowhere near good enough to pull that off."

Raphael vs. Darkseid

Raph: "And who are you supposed to be?"
Darkseid: "I am the New God."
Raph: "A god, huh? I'm not impressed."

Raphael vs. Captain America

Cap: "Your form's getting sloppy."
Raph: "Listen, old man, you ain't the boss of me!"
Cap: "...It's like Hawkeye all over again."

Raphael vs. the Thing

Thing: "If you're lookin' for the best pizza on this Earth, try Joe's on 8th Ave."
Raph: "On my Earth, I wouldn't even feed that pizza to the roaches!"
Thing: "You take that back!"

Raphael vs. Daredevil

Raphael: "What are you smirking at, horn-head?"
Daredevil: "I don't see many people using the sai, that's all."
Raphael: "Then get ready, 'cause I'm the best with 'em!"

Raphael vs. Ms. Marvel

Raph: "Yeesh, they're letting kids be superheroes now?"
Kamala: "Hey, I'm old enough to drive!"
Raph: "Don't go cryin' to your mommy after I kick your butt!"

Raphael vs. Scott Pilgrim

Raph: "Now some shaggy-haired kid thinks he can beat me?"
Scott: "Joke's on you - I'm the best fighter in my province!"
Raph: "Great, the Canadians are invading."

Raphael vs. Michelangelo

Raph: "You've used that skateboard long enough! It's my turn!"
Mikey: "I'm this close to doing this trick I saw online!"
Raph: "Let's see if you can use it to dodge my beatdown!"

Michelangelo vs. Batman

Mikey: "How do you do that 'disappearing into the shadows' trick?"
Batman: "The first step is being silent, and the second is concentration."
Mikey: "What was that? I wasn't listening!"

Michelangelo vs. the Hulk

Mikey: "Dude, you seem tense. Have you tried pizza?"
Hulk: "Hulk hate pizza!"
Mikey: "You did not just say that."

Michelangelo vs. Thor

Thor: "Thou shall feel the wrath of Mjolnir!"
Mikey: "Dude, Shakespeare was so five hundred years ago! Update your lingo, man!"
Thor: "The prince of Asgard changes for no man, woman, or turtle!"

Michelangelo vs. Deadpool

Mikey: "Come on, dude - think about it!"
Deadpool: "Chimichangas on pizza is the worst idea I've ever heard! You'd ruin both of them!"
Mikey: "You don't know unless you try it!"

Michelangelo vs. Ghost Rider

Mikey: "Bro, that bike is awesome!"
Ghost Rider: "It is powered by the flames of hell."
Mikey: "Whatever it runs on, I gotta try it out!"

Peacemaker vs. Harley Quinn

Harley: "Didn't ya hear? I've turned over a new leaf!"
Peacemaker: "You're still a deranged court jester."
Harley: "Flattery'll get ya nowhere!"

Peacemaker vs. Captain America

Captain America: "And who are you supposed to be?"
Peacemaker: "I'm you if you had the guts to get the job done!"
Captain America: "You make Burnside sound reasonable."

Black Adam vs. Shazam

Shazam: "Adam. Up to your old tricks?"
Adam: "My deeds are no one's business but my own."
Shazam: "A simple 'no' would make this go smoother."

Black Adam vs. Doctor Doom

Adam: "A drone of yours was discovered in Kahndaq."
Doom: "Doom assesses all potential threats."
Adam: "If you had researched further, you would know that I am not to be trifled with."

Black Adam vs. Ghost Rider

Ghost Rider: "Your soul is as black as your name."
Adam: "You are nothing before the Spectre, or me."
Ghost Rider: "But I am a spirit of vengeance all the same."

Lois Lane vs. Superman

Lois: "How is it that I knew you for all those years, and I never saw through those glasses?"
Superman: "People see what they want to see."
Lois: "You make it sound poetic, but it was mostly the Superman robots."

Lois Lane vs. Wonder Woman

Lois: "When you wanted to have a girl's night out, this isn't what I expected."
Wonder Woman: "You'll be trained in the ways of the Amazon."
Lois: "You're the best - we really need to hang out more often."

Lois Lane vs. the Joker

Joker: "Breaking news! Daily Planet reporter fed to shark for sticking her nose where it doesn't belong!"
Lois: "That headline is terrible; you're editorializing."
Joker: "In five minutes or so, it'll be a fact!"

Lois Lane vs. Darkseid

Darkseid: "Why do you not cower before me?"
Lois: "As long as one person stands up to a tyrant, then the tyrant hasn't won."
Darkseid: "I'll be sure to kill you first."

Lois Lane vs. Loki

Loki: "Your world's 'Superman' will make for a worthy puppet to defeat Thor."
Lois: "And you think kidnapping me will make him do it? Not very original."
Loki: "I've got plenty of time to come up with something you haven't seen."

Sorry about the delay; I was meaning to post the results earlier, but a bunch of stuff came up around lunch time.

My Peacemaker costumes win by default, we'll be using PinkFlare PinkFlare 's Peacemaker moveset, and here are the results for the Avengers poll!

Black Knight: 4
Gwenpool: 6
She-Hulk: 12
Ant-Man: 13
Moon Knight: 19

moon knight 5.png

Moon Knight will be our second to last Marvel character! Congratulations, DragonRobotKing26 DragonRobotKing26 and Infinity Sorcerer Infinity Sorcerer !

Going by how the previous moveset round went, I have my doubts that anyone will mind if we go with Infinity Sorcerer's moveset, though if anyone has any suggestions/changes, feel free to mention them.

Job 247: nominate costumes for Moon Knight

As usual, we'll go with one default and up to seven alternates.

Job 248: nominate arcade mode rivals for Peacemaker and Moon Knight

Pick a character from the opposing company to serve as their second-to-last arcade mode battle.

Infinity Sorcerer Infinity Sorcerer 's Moon Knight costumes win by default, and Captain America will be Peacemaker's rival! Here's the poll for Moon Knight's rival:

Job 249: nominate a costume pack

I'd like to get one more in here before the guest round, if at all possible. I'm going to re-nominate my cross-company costume collection from earlier.
Costume Pack: Cross-Company Kerfuffle

Marvel and DC have made plenty of characters who are, to put it politely, just barely lawyer-friendly versions of characters from the other company. I figure that a crossover like this could make use of that.

Hyperion
(premiere costume for Superman)

Machinehead
(costume for Iron Man)
View attachment 362117
Power Princess
(premiere costume for Wonder Woman)

Lord Havok
(costume for Doctor Doom)
Job 250: nominate premiere costumes for Static, Magik, Lobo, Blade, Peacemaker, and Moon Knight

It might seem like a lot at once, but I feel like we won't be getting many premiere costumes for this set. As usual, a maximum of two per character.

We'll be doing the guest character round tomorrow.

Infinite Possibilities:
Skins based on alternative versions of the characters from the multiverse. All of them are just costumes, not premiere (even if it could have more sense in the other way, but I feel that it would also mean that they should require different moves to fit more and thats a nono).
WHAT IF? THOR

While we're on the topic of costumes, would it be okay to change a previous costume? It's a bit situational but I'm somewhat intent on replacing a costume from the First Appearance pack.
---
What's the one thing any superhero wants in their wardrobe? The answer: A colorful costume. It makes them pop, makes them iconic, makes them feel heroic... but every now and then, there are some heroes (or villains) that ditch the colors and go with something a little, darker. There's something in the simplicity of darker shades that feels, nice; The sleekness, the bad*ssery, the shadowy vibes; It all adds up to be something astonishing. Thus, for this pack, let's ditch the bright colors and go in all-black.
Calvin Ellis (Superman Premiere)
Model 42 (Iron Man)
The Dark Archer (Green Arrow Premiere)
Fear Itself (The Thing)

Aside from Superman, I tried to focus on characters who haven't gotten costumes during the DLC; I'm honestly surprised Iron Man and Green Arrow had none, despite their long history

3/4 of these are major costume inclusions I feel like should've had more consideration for in the base game. The last 1/4th is Captain Marvel; I was struggling to pick, okay?
Aside from Superman, I tried to focus on characters who haven't gotten costumes during the DLC.
I could suggest The Thing's appearence from Fear Itself instead of the one of Captain Marvel that being honest is just a palette swap.

Thank you! I'll make that change as soon as I can; I definitely want these costumes to he interesting enough to vote for, which I hope is how the selection feels here.

Well... screw it, I may as well toss my hat into the ring. Here's my Oh, the Horror! pack.

Halloween might be over, but fear is eternal. Who can know what kinds of creatures lurk in the dark?.. or, perhaps worse-yet, who can know what kinds of creatures lurk... within?...

"Cap-Wolf"Bat-Man (Earth-43)"Darkhold Defiled" Iron ManDCeased Nightwing
First Appearance: Captain America Vol. 1, #405 (1992)First Appearance: Batman and Dracula: Red Rain (1993)First Appearance: Darkhold: Iron Man #1 (2021)First Appearance: DCeased Vol. 1 #1 (2019)
A classic, albeit very weird, 90s outing for the Captain, this one's a bit... unusual, to say the least. Transformed into a werewolf by Dredmund Druid (but just about able to shake off hypnosis due to the super-soldier serum), this bestial form of Steve Rogers - torn uniform and weirdly serrated shield (as seen on the cover of #408) and all - would be a terrifying foe to face. Oh, the irony of a creature of the night becoming just what he always pretended to be. Bitten by the vampire Tayla without his blood being drained, Bruce Wayne - now taking on the identity of the Bat-Man permenantly - hunted down and killed Dracula, though losing all blood from his body, the man known as Bruce Wayne died that night. Nonetheless, this creature continues to prowl the streets of Gotham by night. Once you hear the leathery sound of wings above... it's too late.Tony Stark (of Earth-21129) made a mistake. Sure, he was the super-genius millionaire playboy we all know and love, and yeah, he did manage to build himself the iron suit that saved his life. After realising his very flesh was being melded to the suit, it was too late.

This horrible, slightly fleshy look for Iron Man would really let us see the horrible effects of Stark's hubris gone terribly wrong. It's lucky, in truth, that this is a parallel universe. Plus, it's more recent too!
Sometimes, as we've seen, the dead just... don't die. Other times, the dead are not content sleeping.

In another world, another time, Darkseid is successful at introducing the Anti-Life Equation into Earth, using Cyborg as a conduit. Billions are infected, and in the depths of Wayne Manor... Nightwing is one of the first. He and Robin would eventually infect Batman as the latter attempted to protect Alfred - though, eventually, they were once more laid to rest.

I feel like it depends on which costume and why; people voted in that specific pack, but if you've got a good reason for it, then I figure it's fine.

Swap Ms. Marvel #1 for TMNT #1 (all 4)
Reason: It's better

Sure; it still fits the theme of that costume pack, so I'm fine with it. (I'll edit it into the first post of this thread)
Thanks. I changed my original First Appearance submission so the costumes are there too, just to avoid confusion for anyone who follows the first page link

I checked the other DLC costume packs, and Vampire Batman was added in season 2. Could you change that costume to something else that fits the theme?

None of the first six characters of season 3 will get premiere costumes, and Doctor Fate will be Moon Knight's rival!

Here are the costume nominations for this round:

Cross Company Kerfuffle ( Megadoomer Megadoomer )Hyperion (Superman premiere)Power Princess (Wonder Woman premiere)Machinehead (Iron Man)Lord Havok (Doctor Doom)
Infinite Possibilities ( Infinity Sorcerer Infinity Sorcerer )The Jokester (Joker)Cybeast (Cyborg)Raised by Frost Giants (Thor)Zenpool (Deadpool)
Back in Black ( PinkFlare PinkFlare )Calvin Ellis (Superman premiere)Dark Archer (Green Arrow premiere)Model 42 (Iron Man)Fear Itself (The Thing)
Oh, the Horror! ( KneeOfJustice99 KneeOfJustice99 )Vampire Green LanternDCeased NightwingDarkhold Iron ManCap-Wolf (Captain America)
Wild Frontiers (@Darkonedagger)Justice Riders Wonder WomanOld West FlashSheriff T'ChallaWestern Captain America

Vote for your top three, you can't put your own in first, and we'll include the top two overall. (I figure I can bump it up to five costume packs since this is the last season, leaving two spots open after the guest round)

1. Back in Black
2. Infinite Possibilities
3. Wild Frontiers

---

Job 251: nominate a guest character for DLC

As usual, we'll be going with a character who originated in some form of comic (in past rounds, this has included webcomics, newspaper comics, and manga), along with characters who are superheroes (so someone like the Green Hornet or Kato, a Kamen Rider, or Ultraman would qualify even if they didn't start out in comics).

We'll be including the top two characters, and I'll save my nomination for later. (I have an idea, but it will take time for me to type up the nomination)

Resubmitting WordGirl

51zLwDenm0L._AC_SY780_.jpg

The superheroine from Lexicon herself. Under the alias of Becky Botsford, WordGirl is a superheroine who fights using the power of vocabulary with her sidekick, Captain Huggy Face. She is from the PBS Kids series WordGirl which aired from 2007-2015. The show itself is amazingly well written for an educational kids show as well as the fact that the WordGirl universe has super interesting lore. While she is a very out-there choice, that is what makes WordGirl so special. Plus, she recieved some comics published by Marvel themselves. I can definitely see her having an unique vocab gimmick with some moves even having Captain Huggy Face in them. Plus, imagine the funny interactions she'll have with the Marvel and DC characters.

I know this is a bit of a crazy choice but word up, it's WordGirl after all. She can definitely fulfill the guest character niche of being a superheroine along with having connections to Marvel. The true PBS Kids: Brawltime! crossover promotional character.

Wherever good books are sold.
We've had an interesting line-up of guest characters so far - Staples of comics like the TMNT, as well as some indie hits like Scott Pilgrim and Invincible. What I want, though, is a parody character. And I think I know who I want.

It's not a bird, it's not a plane, and it's not an egg salad sandwich - it's the Waistband Warrior himself...

Captain Underpants
Debut: The Adventures of Captain Underpants (1997)

Let me preface this submission as I say that, yes, I am 100% serious about this. I unironically want Captain Underpants in this game. I think he fits both the critieria presented by this job; He's a superhero, yes, and while I'm not 100% sure if this'll count, I think the Captain Underpants books fit into the realm of comics (at the absolute least, the Flip-O-Rama segments and George and Harold's in-universe comics, the latter of which being where Captain Underpants was invented).

Anyway, brief history lesson time. Captain Underpants is a series of children's novels written by Dav Pilkey from 1997 to 2015. The series focuses on George and Harold, two elementary school boys who would much rather pull pranks and draw comics than listen to any sort of authority, especially their mean principal Mr. Krupp. After the boys get their hands on a 3-D Hypno-Ring, though, they use it to hypnotize Mr. Krupp into believing that he is one of the boys' greatest creations, the amazing Captain Underpants! What follows is twelve books' worth of adventure, drama, and... oddly enough, pretty good satire of our modern world. Oh, and LOTS of toilet humor.

With that out of the way, why should Captain Underpants be let into the Infinity Crisis roster?
  • Well, he'd be funny, for one thing - While the clashing in tones with pretty much every other character in the roster would be jarring, that'd just help Captain Underpants stand out among the rest of the heroes and villains.
  • Secondly, I feel there's actually some decent moveset potential here. Captain Underpants actually gets legitimate superpowers, such as being able to fly and being incredibly strong. Beyond that, though, I envision him as a very slapsticky fighter - slingshotting underwear and using toilet paper as a grappling hook are things he's done in canon, if I remember correctly. There's also a lot of weird inventions from the Captain Underpants series he could use in his kit.
  • Finally, Captain Underpants is just a character I feel people have a lot of nostalgia for. I still think the books have held up pretty well today, but for elementary-school me, these were some of my favorites, and I know other people feel the same way. Having a Dreamworks-produced movie and Netflix series under his waistband, Captain Underpants is still around and kicking, bringing in new fans.
I totally expect to get laughed right out of the thread with this one. My second contribution, and it's freakin' Captain Underpants. Like I said, though, I feel that the good captain has value in a game like this in spite of just how different he is from the Spider-Men and Batmen of the world - Heck, that's why I love him so much. If anything, I hope you'll consider letting this principal-turned-hero-turned-principal-again fight for truth, justice, and all that is pre-shrunk and cottony!

Resubmitting Deku:
Guest character submission:
Izuku "Deku" Midoriya (My Hero Academia)
View attachment 362458
Izuku "Deku" Midoriya is a main protagonist of 2014 Shonen Jump manga "My Hero Academia", who wants to become a hero just like his idol All-Might (Toshinori Yagi). He was born quirkless and he was "bullied" by his friend Katsuki Bakugou by calling him "Deku" in his childhood.
When he started to attend UA High school, he met new friends like Mina, Ochaco and more who also wanted to become heroes too. When Deku met Allmight, he became his close pupil and gave him "One for all" quirk.
Deku also has his enemies like Dabi, Himiko Toga and All for One (the villain of the series).

Deku is one of most popular MHA character and he is considered as poster boy of the series due to being a protagonist of the series.
Also MHA became a successful franchise that became a pop culture phenomenon after the release of the first issue of the manga.

His moveset in this game would consist of his abilities like summoning tentacles to attack the opponents like a whip or even dodge opponents' attack with his danger sense quirk.
Also he could use smash attacks in his moveset like Texas smash, Delaware smash and even United States of the world smash as his super move.

I nominate Deku as guest character, because MHA crossed over with Marvel back then where Deadpool met Allmight in the manga and My Hero Academia was inspired by DC and Marvel Comics (the creator was fan of them).
Also deku could have fun moveset in this game due to having "All for one" quirk which he could use his abilities like Fa Jin, Danger sense and etc.

Kamen Rider Double

Appearing in the series Kamen Rider W and the Manga/Anime Fuuto PI, This rider is one of the most iconic in the series. Kamen Rider is a huge Tokusatsu series in Japan and has been gaining more popularity in the west.

Double is actually 2 people, The Hardboiled Detective Shotaro Hidari and the Genius Philip, Together they use the Gaia memories to transform into many different forms that have different weapons and quirks.

Job 251:Kick-A**

images (2).jpeg

Dave Lizewski (AKA Kick-A**) is a teenage superhero,he is an ordinary teenage student that becomes a real life superhero (or better,a superhero without superpowers as Batman and Captain America),his actions are publicized on internet and inspire other peoples, and Dave gets caught up with two vigilantes that that are Big Daddy (Damon McCready) and Hit Girl (Mindy McCready).

Why Kick-A** on Marvel VS DC?
Kick-A** was published by Icon Comics,an inprint of Marvel Comics for creator-owned titles and was repulished by Image Comics (the same comppany from Spawn and Invincible),also there are Marvel and DC comics on Kick-A** comics and there is a 2010 movie and a sequel from the movie released on 2013.

Last time on DC vs. Marvel: Infinity Crisis, warriors gathered from across the multiverse to put a stop to Thanoseid, the dark force that was putting their universes on a collision course! Some gathered to restore peace and order, others had their own plans for conquest that didn't involve Thanoseid, and a few just wanted a good fight. One potential competitor definitely falls into the last category, but will he make it in the nick of time? Find out today, on DC vs. Marvel: Infinity Crisis!

My go-to nomination for guest characters has been the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, but they're already in the roster. This is the final set of guest characters, and we've had characters from manga, webcomics, and newspaper comics nominated in the past regardless of their connection to superheroes, so while it might be a stretch, I figure I should swing for the fences and go with a character that I'd like to see cross over with Marvel and/or DC (and one who's definitely earned a place in comic history).

SON GOKU
-First Appearance: Dragon Ball #1 (1984)

Akira Toriyama had already made a name for himself in the pages of Weekly Shonen Jump (a Japanese comic magazine) with Dr. Slump, a gag manga about a semi-competent inventor and his invention, a robot girl named Arale. His follow-up series started out as a parody of martial arts manga, starring a stubby-armed child rather than a tall muscular man like Fist of the North Star or its contemporaries. However, as the series went on, Goku grew up, got married, had children, and the series went from a gag manga to one of the quintessential examples of what it was parodying, establishing a ton of manga tropes along the way. (along with becoming what people think of when they think "anime")

While the flagship character of the American comic industry could be debated between the likes of Batman, Superman, or Spider-Man, it would be hard to argue that the flagship character for the Japanese comic industry would be anyone other than Goku. Spawning countless imitators, homages (Luffy from One Piece, Naruto from Naruto, and Gon from Hunter x Hunter, to name a few) and references (Super Sonic is just the start), Goku's come a long way from being part of a goofy retelling of Journey to the West.

If you've seen a single match of Dragon Ball FighterZ (or most Dragon Ball fighting games - there are a lot), you'd have an idea of how Goku would play in a fighting game. He might not be directly connected to superheroes (though they are referenced in his series, between the latest movie, Gohan's stint as the Great Saiyaman, and to some degree the Ginyu Force serving as a Super Sentai reference), but I figure we could have some kind of reference to Japanese comics along with western ones, and the possibility of Goku vs. Superman is not one that I want to pass up, even if it's for a hypothetical fighting game roster rather than anything official.
