I'm trying very hard to get this venue right here for Revolution 13. Aka the second stop for the LSC2 in Dallas in the month of April.

The venue has tons of space, a projector, lights, all the chairs and tables we will need, very very nearby food (like if I tiled the camera you could see the cafeteria), we can be as loud as we want, and there will be tons of random players because it is on the University of North Texas and I will be putting up around a 100-150 fliers. I'm going to try and talk to the University's gaming club to see if they will come and or spread the word about my tournament. If I get this venue (which I've seen Brawl tournaments held here before) I will GUARANTEE A MINIMUM OF 50 PLAYERS AT THIS EVENT!!!!!

F X game X change is my last resort. I will have a thread up 100% for sure before the Hobo tournament (This is the worst case scenario, because I plan to have it up asap and maybe even this week).

If I can't get that venue then I will see if there are any venues on or really really close to campus that I can use. I plan to host it within walking distance of UNT because I really think that is the key to a larger turnout.

Denti I love you no homo. But when you mentioned that other randoms may come to this, does this mean casuals will come to this? I don't want random pikachus spamming thunder.

Randoms mean random. It could be anything, hence randoms. Basically whatever college students might know about competitive Brawl if they know anything. I held a tournament once and a random *** Yoshi almost beat ALSM and Disqo. He was pretty good. But then there are mostly players that don't even know what a DACUS is.

Honestly speaking (after doing some research), I am probably not going to be able to get a venue ON campus but I have good odds of getting something directly beside campus. I want a big venue that isn't shady.

Pretty decent Link living in my dorm, takes me back to when.. Nvm, that time has passed, and a "dark" entity took over what I once knew...

And his younger brother has a good Marth, they just know about European players since one emulates Legan and the other Mr. R, they know nothing of the American players.

Also met a player that used to play competitively but quit because of the scene i believe is what he said, played Falco/Snake and went by the tag "RSN" I think, I think I remember him from some of the first Phases that were at UTD... Idunno...

Okay... so I am wondering. The next brawl tournament is probably after the next BR, so I should probably practice alot of PM for good results.
However, I'm not sure because something might randomly come up and maybe someone could carpool me for brawl.(Ill try and see if I can give gas money) I just want to practice the right game ;-;
