The idea of trying everything and figuring out what's best is what made Kupo's codeset what it is. To say we only need one codeset right now. is extremely short-sighted.

The old kupo was for minor tweaks. The new kupo is for bigger changes but that does not include overcompensating with radical code values for the lack of the future codes. With the upmost respect, I feel people like MuBa's codeset for the wrong reason..
I don't think it's that you're as much bad in his eyes... I'm betting it's just you are one of the figure heads for the side of minor tweaks and keeping the game feeling the same, and the other side that wants to radically change it to a fast and super tech skill based game see you as their opposition is all. I haven't seen anything too bad posted on this thread from you.

Yes, I've been a bit busy with making the texture code, so not much progress as far as Brawl+ codes go. Recently I've achieved complete control over the SD card runtimes(with the exception of the character select screen - where it really matters). But that being said, I can upload any file from the SD card at any time of my choosing. There are still a few things that need to be worked out with directing where file is uploaded, but I've also been able to locate values for that as well...
I'll try and set aside some more time to work on Brawl+ codes as it seems to be about time I worked on them again. I'll keep you informed.
That's great to hear. Will we be able to modify launch power for short hops, full jumps, multiple jumps, and gravity-affected UpB's with it?The code is ready. We're just waiting for other codes to become stable and functional before a release. In the meantime, I'm optimising the code (It was about 120 lines, I'm hoping to cut that down to about 70, as well as making it easier to modify), and we're making sure we have a good starting point.
EDIT: I just pmed him to replace the no AD from tumble with shield during DD. Spikes in this game have no timing involved in meteor canceling. Once you are about halfway through the move, you can jump out of it. My reasoning behind including it is that there are several difficult codes and I might as well request a more simple (?) code while the USB is connectedWhat all functions would your code include, Almas? SH, gravity, Dash etc? And I take it the 70/120 would just be the base length before char-specific bits are implemented? Awesome to hear it's ready, though.
@Kupo, what's this about true spikes? I thought that brawl did a decent enough job at making spikes reaaally difficult / impossible to cancel at high enough percents that they should kill, but cancel-able at low percents. Would all spikes be uncancelable? Char-specific? Seems like a low priority if it really does need to change.
Sounds like just what the doctor ordered.The code allows for a character specific change in Full Hop/Second Hop Launch Power, Short Hop Launch Power, Fast Fall Speed and Downwards Gravity, as well as a second code that modifies each character's overall Gravity. Better still, this global gravity modification doesn't affect many Up+B abilities (including Bowser's, Link's and Donkey Kong's), allowing for the characters to have faster jumps without significantly affecting their recovery. We decided on a dash speed increase that is the same for everyone - it doesn't really seem that characters need to have their dash speeds altered by different amounts.

its a great code for data collection but it messes up replays it needs a lil work so the cpus dont do something other than what actually happened but other than that its awesome for finding tech frames and etc.

My friend couldn't do a FF Fair with mario and make it back yet he could in melee. It might have been a bit too much.why? me and my friend thought it was just fine.

could be a problem o_OMaybe that might fix my pseudo trap with MK where I just SHFF bairs so that I only get 2 slashes, and hitstun usually keeps a few chars caught in it until around 60% or they DI out.
Though it's awesome, it is somewhat broken.
