He used MK on me when we first met in winners. I won game 1 with a judgment and won game 2 on delfino. Then in losers he went Lucario. I 2-0ed him again, somehow, the vids are on my youtube.

@UTD: Dave vs. Havok wasn't recorded. Match 1 was Dave vs. Havok's Snake on FD I think, and Dave won last stock, high percents. 2nd match Havok went MK and I think CPed Smashville, and Dave got 2 stocked. Game 3, Dave went to Battlefield and spaced a lot better, and it ended with a 1 stock, mid-percent win for Havok.

Oh wow. Lol I didn't know Havok played Snake. His MK is really gay though.

But yeah, I'll give you another controller, because I do feel personally responsible for it, but first I would like to say something about it.

I did not lose your controller and am not in fact responsible for it. I set up my wii with brawl in the back. There were some randoms that wanted to play the game. They were randoms to the point where they did not possess their own controllers. I approached you, a TO, to ask if there were spare controllers available. This controller was not for my own use but for the use of others that paid to play videogames at this convention. You handed me the controller, which I assumed was Colorado Cuthroat's, not a personal one, and I brought it back to the set up where it was used and possibly stolen. I was never in possession of said controller other than when I was delivering it to the player that asked to borrow one. It was not me that wanted to borrow the controller and there is no reason I should have to accept responsibility for the actions of whoever took it.

Again though, I do still feel partially responsible and will replace it. I just had to get that off my chest. <3

I could only find the vids vs his Lucario.
And Havok plays Snake as well as MK now because he finds him to be more fun iirc. It's pretty freaking great, but his MK is on another level.

BTW By "as well as" I mean "along with.

And lol @ KiraFlax's post about supercon. Kinda feel the same way... Last supercon was amazing (to a degree). This one felt like supercon's lame cousin.

Jo, we did pools instead of a really large bracket just because people would get more games out for their money ($50 is a lot to pay). You were guaranteed 4 through 5 games in pools alone since it was round robin.

I'm sure everyone agrees that it's no fun going 0-2.


One thing Jo. You told me that halfway through one of your sets you just gave up. I've heard you a lot of times say that you wanted to step it up. Giving up half way is not stepping it up, bro.

Sorry but I think its more demeaning to not even make it out of pools or to have 2 really good players in your pools knowing that you aren't going to make it out of pools(if Mikehaze and Dekar were in your pool, you probably wont make it out. <-that feeling)
Also your last sentence is confusing, Because I had a moment with a bad mindset this last weekend I can't try to step it up now? uhh...I don't know what the point of that sentence is. Yes I got frustrated and gave up after losing to Goyf, however if anything saying I am going to step up on my game is saying that I will never do that again.

Nobody hates on Dave(we wub Dave! <3). I think he is a great player. People just get frustrated when he tells them that he is going to give them a ride to something then never shows up or even calls ahead of time so they can make other arrangements. lols. and as for doing the best. i think Dave needs to face more of us in tourney before we can say that.( He has only fought the no 10 and 7th in the state once in tourney in the last 8 months.) He ***** face at Fighter Frenzy. Just after that has not really ever faced anyone else or and COPR player in tourney (nobody in the top 5) Just saying I want to see him beat Dylan, Meno, and Tim because they have stepped it up a lot and have improved a bunch.
