So I was playing Super Mario World right? And during the game there's this part where you can get a blue Yoshi! A ****ING BLOSHI! And it has wings and can fly omg its so awesome! Now there's also this secret area called iirc "secret ...something" I forgot, and there's a red Yoshi but it looks like a baby one, In this run I grabbed it and accidentally threw it away, is there a way to make him grow or is he another secret or something?

u have to grab it and make him eat a enemy and i think he grows. And the secret area ur talking about is the "special" place. But yeah u can get yellow,blue,red yoshi. The red one spits fireballs after u shoot out the enemy and the yellow one stomps the yard while u have an enemy in its mouth

Yeah, there is even a Super Secret Area called Star Road 2? You arnt supposed to get it until you get all the buttons pushed. (the yellow, green, red and blue ones) but if you take a Bloshi you can fly to the spot and go to the Star Road 2.

Because you play characters where all you have to do is spam one or two moves in place, good sir. No cognitive processes required, thar.

Steve, you should make this weekend's tournament a ranking round-robin for a couple reasons:

1) We need one, going into this next week.
2) It's good practice.
3) I dunno what time/if I'll be able to make it, since **** just hit the fan.

Make Melee standard rules, double elim, but make Barwl a ranking, to stroke everyone's egos. We already know I'm 4th, so if I dun show up, I'll just claim that spot. Mmhmm.

I thought the tournament would be in denver.


But still why are you guys staying at a hotel?
Seems like the cost of the hotel would not be worth losing out on proper accommodations and practicing room, just to avoid a little driving time.

Good strategy m i rite, tier whores win tourneys. At least in smash, you can't deny that

But I mean what do you play Tony? Peach, Sheik, Fox, and Jiggs sometimes in doubles. Those characters only need 2 moves to be good too.

This ranking thing is also a good idea, but only if a lot of people show up.

I get off work tomorrow at 4:30 P.M. iirc the tourney will start at 3 P.M., assuming I get out then immediately leave the soonest I can get there is 5:00+ P.M., now considering this, I don't really care if you guys do the tourney without me, or you can wait or something, but I'm going to be showing up around 5 to get some melee and GG in. Maybe Barlw if I feel like it.

I also finally figured out that it only takes me a few matches to get into the feel of the game. That's really why I don't need to warm up, a few matches makes me think "omg this game is awesome lets keep playing" and thus give me a positive winning attitude to own and bone.
