I think from a critical perspective the strongest aspect of the entire show was the characterization between light and L. That definitely hit it's peak in episode 25 and most of the depth in the show actually hinges on those two's relationship. Once L was out of the picture it just went downhill because the best aspect of the show was already written to completion.

i had them like 2 and a half years ago at a melee tourney (this was before brawl was even announced iirc)

No abosolutely not, I wrecked MD/VA tournaments with Plank who went MK.

Rob+Mk is easily a top tier team.

Edit: After teaming with Snakeee i also realzied ROB+ZSS is also a great team.

Jcaesar, I think my best char in brawl+ is ROB. I play like i would play brawl but instead of these combos working against level 1 computers they work against people =]

ROB is an -amazing- team mate. MK just makes it even more true. Me and Lee Martin used to team all the time back in the day and our favorite was Catch someone in Nado > I weak laser both > He up-b's. Free KO's as we always made sure Lee was closer to me so he came out of hitstun faster. :]

Other fun one:

Nado > ROB Nair as they come out of nado > 1000 MK UAirs at low percents.
