Tant, your teams results are off a little bit, Btree + Newb placed 7th, not Skyheart and I, sadly we squandered =(.

Anybody who played a tourney match on the big screen, let me know what the match was, it'll make it easier for me to go through 5+ hours if I know what I'm looking for.

Also good **** guys, MD/VA is coming out of hiding.

I'm glad I at least don't get ***** by good people anymore.

Well, sometimes, but I don't get three stocked by kirbstir's secondaries XD, I had really fun matches with everyone.

Shinku, good **** on that MM, that was beast, too bad we killed ourselves T_T. We'll have to do another one at some point :D.

We can get good melee turnouts now, let's see everyone starting hosting more melee tourneys, I know Shell Shocked is coming back this fall.

There's like 5 matches in a row of what a I think is groom blue vs. DosV and Greg, but I can't figure out which matches were tourney, since there's like 5 matches. Were the first two tourney, and then friendlies afterwards? Seems like azen or chillin (forget which one) is playing jiggs in some of the matches, like the first one is marth jiggs v. fox falcon.

Korn your sets are going up online already, just DL them from youtube, i up in high quality (which is partly why these take me a while).

I'll make a thread once i've upped plank+travis v boss +korn, i'll have two teams sets up then, and i'll add to the list as I up them.

Brawl+ had less than 10 entrants or so, I believe

but yeah its probably still going on, I was too tired to stay for it, Melee and Brawl Results are here.

it wasnt always like that, people have said melee is dead in md/va, but melees coming back and more people are starting to hate brawl and seeing what it truly is.

i dont mean to start a debate or anything, i can understand what if you prefer one over the other. ever since genesis melees getting amazing again.

Meh, I like both games. I don't mean to start a debate either. I guess the numerous posts I've seen from Thumbs, Plank, and slightly Chillin that hate on Brawl make me think MD/VA likes it better. It's all good though, I like both, suck at both, so it doesn't matter XD

It's not just that we like the game more, it's that it's a better game. I'm glad these turnouts have begun to show some intelligence in this region again. I was losing faith in the smash community.

Yeah, woo @ melee turnout being better even though it gets the shaft and gets put on friday night.... gotta start hosting real melee tournies. md/va can shine again since we can play the game that ACTUALLY takes talent... =]

chu, maybe melee should be the main event saturday and brawl should be friday for one of these?

i know a saturday melee tourney would get at least 40.... lol

Good **** to the B+ teams. It was short, but it was good fun. Thanks again Chu for letting us come set it up. There just wasn't enough interest of the remaining people (maybe 10...) to do crews or singles. JCaesar will have vidz posted at his leisure on his channel in the coming week. TH, strong first outing for the team, and it should be even better next weekend.
