Barrett. Period.

Statistically, there's no reason to EVER use the Intervention. Yet the majority of people insist on using the Intervention instead. I blame a BS belief that "Bolt action snipers are just better." that people have embedded into their brains is the main reason for this. I've only ever use it for challenges, or when I was bored.

It just seems that whenever I use the Barrett, I get hit markers galore. I'll hit the chest, hitmarker. Neck, hitmarker, belly, hitmarker. It just seems, to me at least, I get less hitmarkers when I use the Intervention.

I've never heard people say "Bolt Action Snipers are better". People usually use them because they're more flashy and whatnot.

I get more Hitmarkers when I fastaim with the Intervention.

Just got the best killcam of my life. I climb the ladder up to the third story on Quarry and see that the last guy killed a teammate near our spawn. He's near the building by the bulldozer, walking across the square stones in front of B. I see him and get a no scope from across the map for the headshot. I had the entire lobby screaming and the guy ended up backing out.

I love this game.

I don't know if you're serious, but there is no reason to use the Intervention ever. Go read over some of our earlier posts if you need to see why, I really don't want to get into this for the millionth time.

You were quickscoping from that distance?

No offense, but if there's one thing I hate about the multiplayer community of just about everything, it's showing off. It only ends up ****ing people off and getting you killed. You do not need to constantly teabag the opponent's body every single time you kill them in a 1v1 SnD round with the bomb planted, or doing random 360s to show everyone how 'cool' or 'pro' you are. It's incredibly bad sportsmanship.

Welcome to the wonderful world of online gaming. People did stuff like this in previous games. (i.e. CoD4)

No I wasn't quickscoping from that distance. I saw the guy and he happened to be the last man standing. I go for a cheeky no scope and end up killing the guy. People don't play this way to show off how 'cool' or 'pro' they are, I do it to make the game entertaining. We go into our matches trying to do crazy stuff. The teabagging thing in SnD I can agree with, it's just stupid because it wastes everyones time. Even funnier; I saw two people lose the round because of it in one day.

My friends record gameplay, so they ask for pretty killcams. By no means is this bad sportsmanship and I can't understand why you would say that.

I don't think it's bad sportsmanship at all. A lot of the time I just try to get good killcams because some of my friends record gameplay as well, or I'm just bored and want to try something new. Plus, if you're good at quickscoping, by all means do it because if you're accurate it's fun/useful and you can actually get some pretty good K/D's. The game can get pretty boring if you don't try anything new.

Misread your noscope comments there, but my point still stands.

So perhaps you have an excuse that your friend records gameplay so the guys on Youtube can laugh at it and have a good time. Fair enough. But what about others who don't have that excuse? From what it looks like to me, trying to quickscope/no scope somebody from across the map is akin to saying 'You're not even worth properly trying to aim at' and/or 'I'm so good, look at me, I can do THIS!' And I highly doubt that one of their friends is recording the gameplay for them.

Basically, it's looking down on other players and/or showing off. That's why it's bad sportsmanship.

Woo. I'm 23 kills away from the Intervention silver skull title, and 19 headshots away from fall camo. Mind you I used the WA2000 mostly this prestige. I think I got like 699 kills with it and fall camo.

I'm a maybe for the PS3 game day thing.

Oh yes. Cyan has challenged me to a 1v1 hardscope match. If it doesn't have a heartbeat, it doesn't count.

If he wins (He won't.), until I prestige, the only Snipers I can use are thermal. If I win, he has to make an account called OpTic_BabyBuffalo (If it fits), and deal with all the crap of being called a fake OpTic, etc.

I'm clearly the MLG Pro of hardscopes. Cyan needs to put the sniper down.

Anyone on PS3 wanna watch this spectacle? We need someone else to be host.
Man, shut up, I see you quick scope all the time. Scrub

Those people don't do it because the person isn't worth being aimed at. In fact, it's almost insulting that you think any random is worth being aimed at. Every one of those straight up randoms is a kill. You do realize that the victim of the no scope tends to be your standard UMP try-hard because those kids flourish in SnD. They're rushing us BOLT-ACTION snipers with their ridiculously good Sub-Assault-Reconmachine guns. If we have the opportunity to do something cool, why the hell not?

The Intervention is absurdly underpowered and it's risky as balls to jump off of a ****ing building whilst spinning multiple times with a single shot rifle hoping to get the kill while risking poor hit detection, lag, hitmarkers, and bad spin control. It's not done to humiliate the person, the shots are taken because it displays a certain talent for winning in a funny way despite a major handicap.

It's like real war, only I have a sling-shot and wagon while you have an airsoft gun and jeep. Would you be complaining, or taking advantage of the situation?

...Why didn't I think of that?

One good thing that came out of this was that I found out how to get out of the map in the airport

I can finally get my survivalist challenge completed without any interruptions from other players :p

You do realize that going out there is a trap, right? You're stuck out there if you go, lol.

Well yes, I hate people that choose to go out there because it's not really fair to Mike. Even more so if the host is back there, because when he gets shot for glitching, he'll probably end the game.

Saw that awhile ago, I predicted it from the start. Lost quite a bit of respect for CODC.

Wow what a stupid video. That was an absolutely dumb move and I guess, looking back, it was stupid of me to raise the volume. I mean, he says the audio screwed up while recording so it was kinda obvious.

Still that was just dumb.

I didn't even watch it. I always read a few comments before I watch a video, just to see that I'm not wasting my time. It's pretty gay of you to be posting scream videos. Especially since that went out of style so long ago.

Me either. Thanks for letting me know guys. Removed the video link.

How does 1 PM EST sound for the game day guys? And should we just play Domination?
