I know that there have been a few threads about this in the past, but I haven't seen one recently.

Here's the famed Briggs-Myers Personality Type test, based on research done by Dr. Jung. :

http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/JTypes2.asp

And here's some background on the test, in case you're interested:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Myers-Briggs_Type_Indicator

The link above also provides information on the sixteen types at the bottom, in case you want more information.

I've taken the test in the past, but I took it again recently and got INTJ. That description fits me perfectly, and it was funny to read the description and see things that I've actually said to other people. I think it's a pretty neat test overall.

While I was doing it I thought it was going to have a completely different outcome since you can only answer the questions "yes" or "no." But it actually turned out to be pretty accurate based on the description.

My type is INFJ

Introverted-33%
Intuative- 88%
Feeling- 25%
Judging- 44%

I got ENTJ. On my more detailed psychometric assessment at school, I got INTJ. Whatever, I was a slight Introvert in that anyway, so there isn't a marked difference tbh.

You are:

* slightly expressed extravert
* slightly expressed intuitive personality
* distinctively expressed thinking personality
* very expressed judging personality

ENFP- Famous people with the same personality: Mark Twain, Bill Cosby, Oprah Winfrey. Lol

Extraverted 11
Intuitive 25
Feeling 62
Perceiving 33

You are:

* slightly expressed extravert
* moderately expressed intuitive personality
* distinctively expressed feeling personality
* moderately expressed perceiving personality

It was hard to say yes or no to some of those questions.

EDIT: I read the description and it's actually spot-on, so maybe it's a bit more accurate than I thought

Yeah I had to think about some of those questions for a while.

It's pretty interesting, I think I'll read up on the other types when I get the chance.

Myers-Briggs, you mean?

And since I took it earlier in the year for my CRD I class, I had a large, detailed packet. So I won't post all of that here. Rather, I will just say my type:

INTP

Yep, that's right, I'm an introvert.

I'm like RK joker, INTP. N and S are really close though, along with T and F.

Do they have anything for the type 2 tests online?

While this test was semi accurate, the fact that all the questions must be answered in a yes or no matter made some of the questions nigh unanswerable. Regardless, I finished it anyway.

So I go to one question and am like "let me skip this one for now". The same thing happens for like 20 other questions and I give up. :/

This is somewhat interesting. Says I'm a teacher? I think I'll buy it based on personal experience.

I'm a champion.

Yesterday I was thinking to myself if I could ever find someone or something that would truly understand me, and I found it.

Like the other Idealists, Champions are rather rare, say two or three percent of the population, but even more than the others they consider intense emotional experiences as being vital to a full life. Champions have a wide range and variety of emotions, and a great passion for novelty. They see life as an exciting drama, pregnant with possibilities for both good and evil, and they want to experience all the meaningful events and fascinating people in the world. The most outgoing of the Idealists, Champions often can't wait to tell others of their extraordinary experiences. Champions can be tireless in talking with others, like fountains that bubble and splash, spilling over their own words to get it all out. And usually this is not simple storytelling; Champions often speak (or write) in the hope of revealing some truth about human experience, or of motivating others with their powerful convictions. Their strong drive to speak out on issues and events, along with their boundless enthusiasm and natural talent with language, makes them the most vivacious and inspiring of all the types.

Fiercely individualistic, Champions strive toward a kind of personal authenticity, and this intention always to be themselves is usually quite attractive to others. At the same time, Champions have outstanding intuitive powers and can tell what is going on inside of others, reading hidden emotions and giving special significance to words or actions. In fact, Champions are constantly scanning the social environment, and no intriguing character or silent motive is likely to escape their attention. Far more than the other Idealists, Champions are keen and probing observers of the people around them, and are capable of intense concentration on another individual. Their attention is rarely passive or casual. On the contrary, Champions tend to be extra sensitive and alert, always ready for emergencies, always on the lookout for what's possible.

Champions are good with people and usually have a wide range of personal relationships. They are warm and full of energy with their friends. They are likable and at ease with colleagues, and handle their employees or students with great skill. They are good in public and on the telephone, and are so spontaneous and dramatic that others love to be in their company. Champions are positive, exuberant people, and often their confidence in the goodness of life and of human nature makes good things happen.
****ing 0s and 1s. Goddammit I will never found a girl that I could talk to that would understand me like that.

ENFJs do not like dealing with impersonal reasoning. They don't understand or appreciate its merit, and will be unhappy in situations where they're forced to deal with logic and facts without any connection to a human element. Living in the world of people possibilities, they enjoy their plans more than their achievements. They get excited about possibilities for the future, but may become easily bored and restless with the present.
That was pretty much off though, as I study about things happening outside of planet Earth more than on the planet lol. And understand it and love it!

ENFJs have a special gift with people, and are basically happy people when they can use that gift to help others. They get their best satisfaction from serving others.
But that was dead on.

ENFJs have a strong need for close, intimate relationships, and will put forth a lot of effort in creating and maintaining these relationships. They're very loyal and trustworthy once involved in a relationship.
And this was dead on too.

Well then, I guess I'm an INTP with the following;

Introverted Intuitive Thinking Perceiving
Strength of the preferences %
33 38 1 22

You are:

-moderately expressed introvert
-moderately expressed intuitive personality
-slightly expressed thinking personality
-slightly expressed perceiving personality
Also;

INTPs are pensive, analytical folks. They may venture so deeply into thought as to seem detached, and often actually are oblivious to the world around them.

Precise about their descriptions, INTPs will often correct others (or be sorely tempted to) if the shade of meaning is a bit off. While annoying to the less concise, this fine discrimination ability gives INTPs so inclined a natural advantage as, for example, grammarians and linguists.

INTPs are relatively easy-going and amenable to almost anything until their principles are violated, about which they may become outspoken and inflexible. They prefer to return, however, to a reserved albeit benign ambiance, not wishing to make spectacles of themselves.

A major concern for INTPs is the haunting sense of impending failure. They spend considerable time second-guessing themselves. The open-endedness (from Perceiving) conjoined with the need for competence (NT) is expressed in a sense that one's conclusion may well be met by an equally plausible alternative solution, and that, after all, one may very well have overlooked some critical bit of data. An INTP arguing a point may very well be trying to convince himself as much as his opposition. In this way INTPs are markedly different from INTJs, who are much more confident in their competence and willing to act on their convictions.

Mathematics is a system where many INTPs love to play, similarly languages, computer systems--potentially any complex system. INTPs thrive on systems. Understanding, exploring, mastering, and manipulating systems can overtake the INTP's conscious thought. This fascination for logical wholes and their inner workings is often expressed in a detachment from the environment, a concentration where time is forgotten and extraneous stimuli are held at bay. Accomplishing a task or goal with this knowledge is secondary.

INTPs and Logic -- One of the tipoffs that a person is an INTP is her obsession with logical correctness. Errors are not often due to poor logic -- apparent faux pas in reasoning are usually a result of overlooking details or of incorrect context.

Games NTs seem to especially enjoy include Risk, Bridge, Stratego, Chess, Go, and word games of all sorts. (I have an ENTP friend that loves Boggle and its variations. We've been known to sit in public places and pick a word off a menu or mayonnaise jar to see who can make the most words from its letters on a napkin in two minutes.) The INTP mailing list has enjoyed a round of Metaphore, virtual volleyball, and a few 'finish the series' brain teasers.
Pretty interesting stuff, I suppose it's correct. Basically what it's telling me is that I am just...analytical and can understand the stuff.

Did all those 14-15 centuries people take the test?

Because speculating their inner personalities like that is suspicious.

This was pretty accurate. The description was near perfect for me.

"Counselors are scarce, little more than one percent of the population, and can be hard to get to know, since they tend not to share their innermost thoughts or their powerful emotional reactions except with their loved ones. They are highly private people, with an unusually rich, complicated inner life. Friends or colleagues who have known them for years may find sides emerging which come as a surprise. Not that Counselors are flighty or scattered; they value their integrity a great deal, but they have mysterious, intricately woven personalities which sometimes puzzle even them."

Wish I could copy/paste the whole thing. <.<
