Seriously dude, the PS3 controller is SOOO much better than the 360 one is (especially for fighting games). Once you get used to it, you'll never want to go back to that *shudder* 360 controller again.

the left thumbstick is in a silly spot on the ps controller... it basically forces you to use the d-pad... which is fine for some but I don't like having the callus on my thumb from playing, and I don't like how it inputs shoryukens (623)... the 360 controller absolutely forces you to use the thumbstick because the dpad is horribad, but it's my preference... I love actual sticks, but seeing as mine is broken I gotta do with what I've got... I won't enter BB unless I can either play on 360 pad or stick (not that I will make a difference to the tourney, but I've been looking forward to the BB tourney as much as brawl, and I will just be throwing away money // getting frustrated with missed inputs if I try to play on ps pad)

the 360 joystick kinda grew on me for sf. dpad sucks. sticks is ultimate.

Dunno, other than Smash, most fighters I've played, I've much preferred the d-pad. It just feels more comfortable, and the stick makes me jump around way too much.

I use the 360 pad, lol. Analog sticks on a gamepad don't feel right for me.

Anyways, I'm pretty sure they won't be super strict about what console it's played on. At least I hope so. The only problem is having an Xbox too would mean using another set-up, which smash kinda needs. Or we can swap back and forth between PS3 and Xbox on the same TV.

Well, what if the finals is someone who won all their matches on a 360, and someone who won all on a PS3, or something, if it's going to be alternating like that?

My excuse didn'twork, I knew my parents would never let me go if I told them the truth, but "I am not allowed to stay on campus from friday to sunday with my group members and work on this major assignment due sunday night while studying for mid terms next week"

(I legit have midterms next week  the rest is a lie)

:cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry:

... So should I like, quote your sig or something...?

Personally, like I said to swordguard a while ago, I think we should allow both console if both player agrees on it. It's just stupid to remove a console because the other is prefered in most big tourneys.

So I think we should maybe do a vote on who wants xbox360 only/ps3 only/both.

Isn't it kinda late for voting about stuff?

Speaking of late, I'm working 8:00 am to 6:30 pm so I think I'll go to bed nao.

Both 360 and ps3 pads suck balls for fighting games. Only pad that's acceptable is sata, mainly because it has one of the best dpads out of all pads ever and a button layout similar to an arcade's stick which lets you claw style your inputs. BB for example it's easy for me on stick to A+B+C to option select throw breaks+FD, or to simply piano inputs while I'm getting combo'd to airtech out if ever there's a small gap, things you simply can't do well on pad with thumbs alone.

Anyway I don't mind letting you use my sanwa stick for your matches buenob, hopefully we don't play each others lol. If you've never used one though don't expect 10 minutes to be enough to get used to it, but as long as you're having fun then I guess you don't care.

Also multi console tournament is a terrible idea. Completely against it.

All I know is I'm going to lose it.
Since I've been playing with the 360 DPad, I'll adjust to 360/PS3 just fine.

But how is multi console a bad idea, if we have the same amount of ps3s and 360s then why not? If both player agrees before the match to play on the the xbox version then how is it a bad idea? I mean playing on ps3 for me will be like I barely played the game >.> Hopefully I can adapt really quick so I can actually give a challenge to some of you.

yeah we can, bring a sleeping bag =)

So: I bring a wii, melee (with memory card) brawl and brawl+ WITHOUT infinite replay

Edit: Wth, my SD card keeps freezing my wii... so if I can't find the problem, I'll only have melee and brawl without infinite replay

Because if we meet in grandfinals I won't agree and you're going to get bodied on the ps3 like you barely played the game.

Hey everyone. The ottawa crew is now officially on the way! Please pre-register Buenob, Knuckles, myself, HiDef and Linkshot for the low-tier tournament. We will be there before 8. Hopefully.

I expect to get there around 8:30ish. If you can register me for brawl+ singles swordgard that would be cool. (If you do I probably wont go to the casino lol)

Or if you can't be waiting on me don't bother.
