I normally don't bother responding to these threads because they're dumb. But Strife has a semi-point but only for that 'best female title' which I don't care about. I just want to play and improve because I love this game, and as far as I'm concerned I'm on the same level as someone like him who won't make it to bracket in a national but I'll work damn hard to get there.

That'd be a pretty small bracket.
Most ladies just aren't as attracted to the competitive side of the game. I know tons of girls who love to play smash, but very few who want/try to play it competitively.

I always thought vans was the best IDk still a great player either way.

Also, I think it's unreasonable to say that women are worse at smash than men simply because so few women actually play smash competitively so the argument/comparison is not justified, the ones that do play smash competitively are not doing too bad apparently, at least there seem to be a lot of dudes that are worse than them and again this is because there are so many guys playing smash.

I'm not a douche and I am not trying to provoke anyone, I am simply stating how things are. I already stated that what I wrote would come off harsher than I mean for it to.
I'll admit that I'm not exceptionally great at this game, but I have a very hardtime believing that Doll or really any female could be at melee.

It just does not seem feasible, any guy who is good at this game(and I don't mean by pro tourney standards) shouldn't be loosing to any of the girls playing this game. This isn't an attack at women saying that they can't play videogames, but it's that if you watch the replays of these women THEY SIMPLY ARE NOT GOOD!
Moreover I think we are doing them a disservice by pretending that they are good players. I remember a while back people were hyping up Milktea saying she is one of the best players in CT and she could do very well at tournaments, and then she didn't EVEN MAKE IT OUT OF FIRST ROUND POOLS at Genesis. We gave her false confidence and look what happened. Also the majority of these girls likely aren't stupid. I'm sure they know that they aren't good players.

I think the only thing is that for whatever reason, competitive Melee interests a lot more guys than it does girls. However, I don't think girls are any less capable of reaching a top level than guys are. It's just that a LOT less girls are trying, and the ones that have tried so far seem to have been doing pretty well looking at players like Crismas, Ladylegion, Vans, Tec0 (lol <3), etc. It's just that none of them have put in enough dedication to practicing to reach a higher level. I mean I know they definitely have put in dedication, but it takes A LOT of dedication to become a top player.
I feel that if a girl were to have enough dedication to the game, she could be just as successful as any guy could.
Oh and....
I think it's in that album only cuz Mango is behind them checking them out hardcore lololol
