ashley has a spirit hooray![]()
Dark Matter is a Spirit, Coo and Kine are Spirits which means Rick is as well, and I'm hearing that Susie has been spotted as a Spirit.
If Spirits = deconfirmed then Kirby isn't getting a single newcomer this game... AGAIN
Yeah, that's an extra level to The Ultimate Choice called Soul Melter Extra. It popped up at some point in this thread. http://boards.4chan.org/v/thread/439868393

They're adding new moves to spice up the original trio who were in the base game, since they're kinda vanilla compared to the later Dream Friends.Hypothetically if King Dedede gets his Super Jump and Meta Knight gets his Mach Tornado...
Why does Bandana Dee get a unique charging move he has never done before?
Side Special Anyone?
The only problem with this idea is that any group you join forces with will expect you to support their characters as well. You get more supporters, but you drown out the vocalization for BWD.Hmm, do you all think that we should maybe group up with the Skull Kid and Elma fan groups? We were all kinda done dirty in a way. Skull Kid's AT wasn't shown in the direct, and Elma and our boy weren't shown off until later either, all left hanging thinking we had a chance...
Actually, this is kinda similar to the dragging along of the Isaac and Shadow fanbases too. Hmm, there seems to be a pattern in Ultimate...
Third time?we just got shafted a third time in a row.
I'm guessing that they're counting Smash 4's base game and Smash 4's DLC as two separate things.Third time?
Yep. Honestly, at the time a Kirby newcomer shouldn't have been out of the question.I'm guessing that they're counting Smash 4's base game and Smash 4's DLC as two separate things.
This reminds of what some fanbases tried to do after Smash 4's release. They wanted to promote the likelihood of certain characters getting in as DLC and only wanted certain characters in. I actually petitioned for Roy to be part of the group, and I got declined due to Roy being considered extremely unlikely to be DLC at the time.Hmm, do you all think that we should maybe group up with the Skull Kid and Elma fan groups? Well, yeah. I mean, it's not like three of the DLC characters were returning veterans or anything. This was when the only known DLC character was Mewtwo. People had no idea what direction DLC was going to take and how many DLC characters in general there would be.Well, yeah. I mean, it's not like three of the DLC characters were returning veterans or anything. He didn't even stand a chance!
*bu-dum-tsh* (insert stock sitcom laughter here).
Oh, sorry about that. I honestly didn't realize that. This was when the only known DLC character was Mewtwo. People had know idea what direction DLC was going to take and how many DLC characters in general there would be.
I'm personally hoping for megaton punch and his parasol to be added to his moveset.I do have to wonder how exactly they will implement new atacks. From what I remember, the only thing really missing was down move while on the ground for bandana waddle dee. They could also add a tapping system I suppose as well and maybe throws based on parasol and/or beam.
Did anyone else notice that Meta Knight seems to be charging up a new attack? What could it be?King Dedede has his jumping attack from his boss fights. The original Dream Friends might be getting a revamp

Meanwhile the one guy who wanted Pichu back thought he'd been picked as DLC. How naive he was...EmbarrassThis was when the only known DLC character was Mewtwo. People had no idea what direction DLC was going to take and how many DLC characters in general there would be.
I guess you could give Meta Knight a palette based on his NES debut. There have been a few people thinking/hoping that there might be unlockable colors/skins/outfits, or perhaps as DLC, since Ridley had 2 of his skins changed from E3 to the current build. If we get more alt colors like this, what would you want for the current Kirby characters? I'd love to see some copy ability Kirby colors/hats, like stone kirby brown with the matching hat, and his hat changes with neutral b.
It's basically what Kumazaki's been doing for Kirby games for a while now, Kirby having dodging mechanics was the start. This seems like the natural next step to desperately getting senpai Sakurai to notice. On a some what separate note BWD is getting new unique moves in star allies. It would be funny if they revamped his attack making in to a smash bros format
Wish this ment something more substantial for BWD in the DLC long run. But hey more BWD content is good for meKirby: This is fine.

More importantly though, I just want to seeget his Punch-Out outfit, it doesn't feel right to see that remain in a trailer.

Hmm, I suppose so. Still, I do feel bad for Isaac, Shadow, Skull Kid, and Elma fans. I can't help but see them in a similar position to us. I can still hope we're all somehow satisfied in the end, right? (Even if it isn't likely)The only problem with this idea is that any group you join forces with will expect you to support their characters as well. I know this isn't the positive "Be nice and support one another!" message you'd expect to hear, but when it comes to supporting your character, your goal should be to make them stand out from the competition. The Ridley and K. Rool supporters never banded together. They each stuck to their own and raised awareness for their character until they got a fanbase so massive that it dwarfed every other character. THAT is why both Ridley and K. Rool got in Smash. Their respective fanbases made their voices so loud that each character became a glaring omission from the roster.
My advice? Do the exact same thing. Do whatever it takes to make BWD be seen as the uncontested, most popular character missing from the roster. Focus on him alone, and don't work together to help other characters who didn't get in.
Oof, got him in the end though, so it worked out. Though I do find it extremely unlikely that Roy will be DLC this time... for obvious reasons. This reminds of what some fanbases tried to do after Smash 4's release. I understand the feeling. Characters like Syrup, Poochy, Sonic regulars that aren't Shadow and Tails, WW regulars that aren't Ashley, Adeleine, Gooey and many others are left by the wayside because they don't have massive groups supporting them. I mean, much of the fans with bigger wants have ATs as compensation, the rest don't even have anything that cool, so at this point it's left to praying that they actually are known to exist.Hmm, I suppose so. Some, not a lot, but some people are convinced that the size of a character's support thread determines their global popularity, and stick behind that, and it's really annoying.I understand the feeling. In any case though, this reveal cycle should teach an important lesson; for your character to stand a chance, your support must be loud and clear, yet not be afraid to vouch for lesser-known ones at the same time. Also, support responsibly and don't do it in an abusive way like the bad parts of the Waluigi fanbase.
I feel otherwise. I think after Piranha Plant, Hat goomba argumentos stopped (sad that it took an actual goomba to get people to stop hating on an actual character). Some, not a lot, but some people are convinced that the size of a character's support thread determines their global popularity, and stick behind that, and it's really annoying.
Also, is anyone else noticing a general stigma against Bandana Dee? I feel like every other day there's someone coming on to this thread with something bad to say about Dee.
People will rip up any character they see as competition for their character of choice even if their typical feelings are ambivalent. With Bandana Dee, the character has among the most impressive resumes left for any veteran franchise character, so obviously people will be gunning for him. The same happens to other characters like Dixie Kong. Also, is anyone else noticing a general stigma against Bandana Dee? If it makes you feel better, Sakurai said this to Game Informer recently, about his reasoning for PP:I feel otherwise. I think after Piranha Plant, Hat goomba argumentos stopped (sad that it took an actual goomba to get people to stop hating on an actual character).
And guess who doesn't fit the usual heroic build type of fighter? That's right. The Dee.I’m actually not paying too much focus on the surprise element when we introduce a new fighter. The surprise element quickly fades once the announcement has been made.
Rather, I believe it’s important to have a good balance as a game. In the past titles in the series, Mr. Game & Watch, R.O.B. and Duck Hunt Dog were some of the examples we offered outside of people’s typical expectations. However, if we don’t have these types of fighters, and we only had typical “hero/heroine” type fighters in the lineup, there’s not much difference. It’s probably not very interesting. Correct?
Hopefully that new move makes him more fun to play as in Guest Star, as he’s currently honestly kind of boring to speedrun with since he doesn’t have anything that makes him move faster. It seems like BWD has a "charging attack" like move! I'm really excited to see if he and the other two got more moves
Here's hoping that Megaton Punch will be used anywhere at all.....Here's hoping for Megaton Punch FINALLY being added to his moveset...
Forget that give him a one inch punch. Make him a tiny Bruce Lee.Here's hoping that Megaton Punch will be used anywhere at all.....

I adore Susie's. Robobot is my favorite Kirby game and not only does she look perfect in HD her moves are on point and you can even summon her little boss Robobot! It's so good.I don't know if this has already been discussed, or if anyone cares enough TO discuss it, but how do you guys feel about the movesets for Magolor, Taranza, and Susie that were shown in their trailers for Star Allies?
