Obviously my lack of actually being at tourneys will make things hard, but something like player profiles/interviews etc for Perth players would be something I'd like to do.

Ok Guys, I've set aside the Easter period to work on getting the website together so I suppose over the next couple of weeks we'll delegate assignments and make a bit of a start on the writing of the first issue. Ideally we'll work towards a maiden release around April/May. I want this to be sustainable but not too demanding in terms of workload, so I'm not going to rush the first issue.

Ok guys starting work on the website/content management system but some name ideas would be appreciated. Anyone got a clever or catchy name in mind? All I could think of was something simple like AuSmash etc.

I suppose our first coverage will be of Thriller, so we'll need a tournament Run down, feature on the Thriller Brigade and possibly interviews with various winners. Who wants to put their hand in the air to cover any of these? I'll probably do an overall run down and get quotes from a number of people, but people willing to contribute on those fronts would be appreciated. Also we'll need to start working out some solid roles.

Serious face now, for name ideas, how about S.M.A.S.H - Sam's/Supported/(s-word) Magazine of Australian Smash Happenings... But then again I've always been a sucker for acronyms ^^" Could incorporate some of the smash-related terms, e.g. Down Tilt Down Under (not a fan of this one, just putting it out as an example ^^), or just the term itself without any affiliation to Australia, like "Spotdodge!" or something similar with a footer of "Australian Smash Scene news, blues and interviews"...
