I gotta be honest, I LOVE Tao as a character, but I don't like her combos in CS.


Which is why I dropped her in favor of using Hazama and eating Iron Tagers for breakfast.

I really hope they do. I don't play rachel, but isn't she suppose to be like, one of the most powerful lifeforms in the game Cannonly? (Next to tager of course :3) It just feels odd having her garbage tier....

Pretty accurate. It's how I fight Tagers as Haz.

I can't be asked to take that thing seriously. They made Tsubaki -worse- and made a lot of changes that didn't make sense. Of course, that's why they call it a test.

I didn't play Nu with Drive spam. Sorry. <_< She you know.... didn't truly need it IMO. It just made her that much better when you actually resorted to it. [EG: Vs Tager... =\ I always fell into the 720 trap otherwise...]

They also ruined the way Noel played. I don't like her in CS because I have to relearn her.

Also every characters viable this aint' a Capcom game. (Roll...lol)

I never got into the competitive scene, but I did spend time learning combos. Finding out traps, and took the game just as serious as if I was competitive. No I haven't played CS much... but from my limited playtime I hate the changes. It makes me feel like a C. Falcon main bawwwww.

No excuse, SuSa. I had to pretty much relearn all of Tao, because back in CT my play style completely revolved around my use of Cat Spirit 2.

Changing that was the biggest blow I've ever felt in a fighting game.

I'm sticking with my precious CT, and may only buy CS so I can run through the story mode.

Jubei, Tager, and Taokaka are the only reasons I even play the game.
Eventually, they'll make Jubei playable.

Then, I'll quit every character I main to play him.

I don't plan to play it competitively, Smash is enough to keep me busy and I lack the time to learn every detail of the game like I try Smash.

I just mess around online, lol when people trashtalk me saying I suck cuz I use Nu - then beat them with Noel.

That's my enjoyment from playing. On a casual level, but with competitive knowledge. You know, kind of like Smash friendlies.

The smash scene up here (NAU) is pretty crappy, so I had to learn CT, even though I just got the previous one....

I was ok with the changes in Noel's play style. Gave her some options, it just was annoying to have to re-learn everything. She's still fun to play.

I think next major tourney is going to be BlazBlue. Hopefully they will have some TvC.

BlazBlue tournaments kind of make me lulz... "Okay.. now the thing is.. **** up 3 times you lose! Unless of course your opponent ****s up in the process."

But that was just from vids I watched and how even casual matches seem to go. Of course, it's more like 3-7 times but whatever....

I met the voice actor for Nu/Lambda/Noel/Mu at that one convention I went to.

She said she was sad that she was nerfed, but that she knew she was broken and that it was kind of warranted.

Nowhere near as much as smashing them into the ground was in CT. Doesn't help that they can easily airtech and escape after CS2 is done.

Agreed, it was a big blow, big enough to make me switch to a whole new character even. Old Cat Spirit 2 was just way much better.

No clue. I would just assume damage output, maybe?
I know Kitty Litter Special got a speed boost, for sure.

Maybe because other characters like Arakune, Rachel, and Nu got nerfed so bad, that Taokaka had less to worry about?
Iunno, just guessing. Maybe for Taokaka, it's more of "everyone else got worse" than "Taokaka got better."

Adding onto what Steam said, it knocked you on the ground. You either teched in place, rolled left, rolled right, or stood up.

It's a worse position than what CS2 does now, by far.
