Rake, FPCG's been outdated for sooooo long. even CPU's can break out of it. if you really want a good way to beat D3, pick up Falco.

I'm not saying the CG is the only way to beat D3, that's ridiculous, I'm saying it happens. And since lucario is by far the most underused character in high tier less people know about what to do with his grabs and disjointed/lingering hitboxes.

The FP CG is in no way outdated and it is stupid to say otherwise, you just have to pick your oppnents and opportunities

It doesn't happen very often, maybe two or three times period to each opponent (that's counting for around every match you'll ever play them in), and we're not the most underused high tier lol. Not by a longshot.

It's outdated because everyone who matters knows that they can get out by the second one on reaction. (It's generally not reasonable for the first person to expect the first FP and start mashing early because you can't use FP oos like a grab or something, and if they mash out of the first FP it means you are really **** predictable).

Logically speaking you might be able to pull off one FP at low % before the opponent gets smart enough to mash out. You should try to follow up with something else like a FAir string, FTilt, etc. But not another FP
