Axe your general Quick Attack game always impresses me; I feel like I'm just so bad at sweet spotting the move in general. Any tips on getting the spacing down for that? Or is it a "practice makes perfect" kind of thing?

Most of pika tech is practice makes perfect imo, especially QA tech.

I think the key to getting the sweet spot down is confidence. Just make sure you quick attack straight into that ledge (actually you wanna aim slightly below it for a good sweetspot). You wanna do it saying "hey, idgaf what you say, I'm gonna sweetspot this ledge knowing 100% sure I'm gonna get it!" Just don't be afraid of dying, and that's the best way to practice it in friendlies. Just always go for it. That's what I do anyways lol.

I killed myself a lot at first having that mentality, but eventually I got it as good as it is now. I always try to be super confident with my sweetspots lol. Not afraid of killing myself.

Yes rainbow, you had that match against me today until that one gib stock where you kept missing the sweet spot and got mad punished. Incentive to try :)

I guess I'll just stop trying to "play it safe" in friendlies that in reality, don't matter. Thanks.

One thing I did to work on my angles is go into training mode, set the computer to like 700%, and combo them using agility/QA whichever it is. Its sort of amusing I suppose. Also try it on various characters, like Fox, then Puff etc etc.

Once I became confident in my angles I found sweet spotting to be easier.

Did an awesome combo today! =D I wish it was recorded lol.

It was on FD against a Falcon. He was at like 50ish percent.

I get a grab on the slight right side of the stage, Uthrow. He DI's left. Running SHFFL Nair, and he flies like midway between the far left and center of the stage.

He doesn't tech, so I jab him like 7 times for a reset, then walk up Utilt (he DI's right), SHFFL Nair (he DI's into me), another SHFFL Nair, then full jump Dair for a full combo and it kills him off the side.

So Uthrow -> Nair -> Jab reset x7 -> Utilt -> Nair -> Nair -> Dair -> GAME

It was like I combo'd him from the right side of the stage to the left side, then all the way back to the right side and KO lol.

It looked so much cooler than I can explain lol darn it :p

So, leading a discussion, what are some super awesome combos that you guys have done that you wish you recorded?

Its funny because they're both Mario's *****es.

On another note, favourite Pika combo never recorded...

Vs Fox.

U-throw a few times(3)
d-throw jab 3 times(missed tech)
b-throw shffl nair (off-stage)
used 2nd jump for uair gimp
Recover

Taunt.
For some reason I get mad as hell when a character like Marth taunts, but the Pikachu taunt is just so good, I can't get angry.
