Just so people actually read this, and understand that people like to BS themselves into things like not being afraid of death.
...So basically you're saying;
"I'M AFRAID OF DYING AND I CAN'T IMAGINE ANYONE NOT BEING AFRAID OF DYING THEREFORE YOU'RE ALL LYING!!"
Right?
(P.S., that argument actually sucks since people commit suicide. If EVERYONE were afraid of death and unable to kill themselves, that would mean that every single suicide is like, a conspiracy by the government or something.)
As one of my friends so eloquently put it, "I'm not afraid of death, I'm afraid of dying."
Of course, once she stated this to other people, they didn't understand the difference...so just in case you don't either, I'll explain it.
Dying = While death is getting ready to set in. Being on your deathbed.
Death = Being in the afterlife (if any, depending on your beliefs).
I used to be really scared of dying, but all of a sudden I looked at this topic and realized...I'm not all that afraid of it. I can't really explain the change all of a sudden.
I'm still afraid of dying, though. Especially how I'd feel on my deathbed, thinking about what I never accomplished, everything I'd want to say before I went.
