Yo guys, it's been a long time since I played this game but I wanna get back into it. Brawl's fun and all but it just doesn't have the excitement of melee.
I'm in NYC for college and my roommates/friends all seem to suck at this game. If anything's going on with smashfests or otherwise in NYC let me know in this topic or in a message. I'm down to organize something where a few of us could just all chill and play some melee for practice. Because right now, competition's pretty slim haha, and I wanna change that and get back into the game. Kinda rusty right now. Reeeall rusty lolz.

dam i'm watching WC vids and i wish we had that kinda hype for our matches ... its like when people lose on the EC they just get mad and leave we dont watch ... and we dont hype anything up unless its a friend ... we should always be hyping up any match that is being watched ...
i know me/G$/d1/hbk/reno definitely try to hype everything up ... so lets really try to step it up guys ... rom is really right around the corner!

If you really want people to come the you should pester people online, make phone calls and try to organize drivers or something. Just saying "OH EVERYONE GET HYPE" aint gonna do ****. Even tho I would never go to Saffron because Jersey is far and my bong is like 3 feet to the left of me as we speak, I respected Alex Strife because he would be hustling the week before trying to get people organized and meet people halfway in order to get them to come out. I remember there was one saffron where I had no $$$ at all, and Alex was nice enough to actually PAY for me to enter singles even tho I didn't want to.
Until that happens, expect low turnouts. I'm still undecided if I'm coming, and if I do, I'm janking all day.

Well, we were teaming in friendlies at Apex... I think. Before that, it was a No Johns... we teamed and you sandbagged against my Falco in singles. And then Johned about how my campy play style was gay in some thread... which it is but still.
i didnt even no u went to apex 
but that no johns was a while ago........i learned how to get around gay lol......but u were freakin gay porn gay style it rilly annoyed but we see if i can handle it next time.......otg i wud def help wit driving an **** like that if i lived closer to tha venue or the city in general....all my ppl have cars so they dont need me for a ride....alu maybe u cud pm ppl it MIGHT help but i no u got a mad busy life wit 2 jobs caking it up and ****.....smashers need to step it up and call ppl for rides and by rides i dont mean the driver gets u (unless ur on da way there) but u meet the driver somewhere convenient for the driver......i always hear ppl say they love da game and dont want to see it die but neva attend tourneys......that rilly dont make no kinda sense....yo i volunteer if any1 needs a ride from the train station in nanuet to the venue call me, ill pm u my # and ill come get u that all i can do cuz i live mad far up north

well thats the thing i dont want to be running around asking people to come ... its really about seeing wats going to happen to this game on the EC ... seriously its on the brink of death.
basically if the game has people to support it then they should come out. I'm not going to run around asking people and setting up rides ... i'm not a babysitter. Anyway i'm getting hyped all over again about smash and just trying as hard as i can with sammy i just want us to be back in tip top shape for rom 3. i'm tired of Wc talking all that dookie =\
but i guess we can let someone else win AGAIN and "sandbag" aka lose and john ... W.e works for u guys
