Rain, Kakera and Otori have exp vs Lucario, possibly Ocean too. And I don't think you're planning to send him in against Ally either. I understand the logic of having a strong Lucario player in a crew but it seems to be a high risk / high reward tactic that can also backfire.

Havok is a good Snake player [a character that's difficult for the world crew imo] - in fact, I'd say he's the best Snake vs Marth and Olimar in the US which will be worth a LOT, especially if Leon's gonna show up too. If I had something to say in the US crew I'd definitely give him the nod

How exactly is it more high risk than putting in a snake against marths, olis, and mks(all bad matchups). At the very least if lucario wins a match, there's a large change he'll take off one stock in the next match due to aura. The world crew has experience against all of our characters(save Esam), that shouldn't be a LARGE deciding factor in who we choose. If that was the case everyone would be optioning for Fow/Trevonte/etc.

But don't MKs beat top Snakes way more than the reverse especially on counter picks like Brinstar? I don't think you can call it even.

Anyways Marth and Olimar are definitively bad MUs for snake.

This. Seriously USA, don't resort to the obvious MK heavy choice...go in there with some pizazz! Show off some of our specialists of the other characters. We're a few months away from hardly seeing that accursed bat ever again anyway.

I'm pretty sure you don't get to hard CP in a crew battle. I've never seen an important Crew Battle go to anything but starter stages.

i don't think MK heavy is a good idea. After me and Anti, between Tyrant Nairo and Dojo, none of them are guaranteed to be on the crew. Gnes is the best in TX so he should be on, Vinnie's ICs should be on, dabuz's olimar should be on, a lucario should be on (probably trela), mikehaze should be on imo, and Esam should be on.

Agreed with Kain. And M2K has a solid list: a top level Pikachu, Olimar, Diddy, ICs, a couple of MKs (Jason and Anti only imo), and a Lucario/Falco/Marth sounds like a good balance.

Europe and Japan both have good ZSS rep. I wouldn't expect them to be caught offguard. PT is really just horrible, Charizard and Ivy are low tier and Squirtle gets wrecked by Marth/MK. These both seem like interesting crew battle characters (refreshed fatigue and suit pieces I guess) but these characters both seem like liabilities to me.

Will can beat most Dededes with the infinite illegal. He has also shown a lot of strength in the Marth MU, and oos players seem to have a really hard time with him.

A competent DDD on the World's side would be useful if we put in a Marth, a DK and a Lucario. I think DK is hardly worth it tho. The world is still gonna have MKs and Olis (and he cant just plank em out) and such.

Doesn't matter what the matchup chart says kadaj. Books aint everything. If Will has the heart, mind, and skill to defeat marths and does beat them. Then his Dk beats Marth. Don't matter what some matchup chart says.

I think what alot of people fail to realize who focus so heavily on charts and stats is that those things are based on HISTORICAL DATA.
Things change. People get better, people learn new things with their characters, people learn how to di lol, etc.

Opposing MKs shouldn't be considered as far as adding Will is concerned. His main role should be to take on one of their top Marths (preferably Leon due to his more boldly aggressive tendencies). Neither of them have creme of the crop DK experience to my knowledge.
