Hey Alex! I'm bringing some non-smasher friends to apex. I have one concern. At every region/national I've been too, one can never hear the main stage match. Most places do a good job of having it on a big screen but the volume is so low. I hate how i can never hear the action! It's like the volume is coming from the tv's they are playing on. There needs to be speakers connected to the match IMO and not some loud techno music blasting else where. U feel me?
Even at MLG u couldn't hear the music or battle crys of the characters. It's easier to get the crowd involved if they can hear it. When u can't hear it most people don't even watch lol.

Have yall thought about this?

All HACKS ARE BANNED meaning on your Wii you should have:

1. No Infinite Replays
2. No Codes
3. No Usb loader + Hard drive
4. Remove The Homebrew Channel and all other hacked channels and reinstall them after the event or use bootmii to create a nand backup with everything on it.
5. A Brawl disc.

Do steps 1-5 and you will be fine.

If u have these on your Wii either we will either remove the SD Card or we will not use your system for the event

Tony you do not speak for the group you are not apart of staff.

Truth is yes we want to do this cause of the sponsors that we have lined up.

We understand the infinite replay code is important but we are organizing 5-6 people per game to record for this event just to compensate.

If you have a Wii with issues with its drive please pm me and we can work it out.

Homebrew should not be on the wii at all but it is acceptable to move it to the end of the channel listing.

As far as the SD cards we would only ask to remove it yourself before hand. We do not want to be responsible for any lost equipment.

Speaking of safety. We will be taking HUGE measures to make sure your setups are taken care of. We will be writing down s/n and providing you with slips so that only YOU can take the wii and no one else.

We will update you with all of that later.

Please guys we need 64 setups for each game for this to work please help us out!

I use SDHC so it'd be pointless for me to leave it in my system without hacks on.

Also need to figure something out, since I have to load my game with Riivo since for whatever reason it won't load the sound effects file properly (it was such a pain to figure out what was causing it to crash, lol).

It is the disc though, so I can just get another one for Apex.

In order to qualify for the giveaway do we need to bring a full TV+wii/cube? I'm in college so I really don't have access to a smaller TV I can take in my car when all the luggage from me and other people is in the car.

If we don't have to, I can bring a wii+my recorder setup, especially since infinite replay may be a no go.

What's the minimum size for televisions? I could bring a 13-inch television, and most certainly a Wii/Brawl.

Is it okay if it's Japanese Brawl? Same game, no hacks. I don't own a working copy of English Brawl. :x
