15$ was the initial entry fee, but it's raised since then and some people are paying as much as 40$ for entry right? So shouldn't the payout be quite a bit more than that?

$40 is the venue fee. Venue fee =/= Entry. The entry fee for Brawl/Melee Singles has stayed $15.

You've mistaken entry fee being raised for venue fee being raised. Initially it was $30 venue fee, $15 singles. Then the price of the venue fee raised to $35, then to $40. Singles is still $15.00

Shadow1pj is still looking for someone to team with. I can vouch for him in being a good Doubles player and a good player overall. He places top 3 in basically every Doubles Event down here in TX, as well. If you're still interested in entering Doubles, you should contact him through AIM (shadow1pjp).

Assume that the two players have only $500 each, and they put it all on the line. Then, afterward, one has $1000 and the other has $0. Hence, one is $1000 richer than the other in the end, but only $500 richer (I take it that's how you read it.)

Where's Diakonos at? Does he play anymore? He needs to be rolling up to these big tournaments, imo.
