Pretty sure it doesn't require all that much effort to adapt to Brawl. Chu's style is really good for this. That was Chu a year and a half ago though.
Merry Christmas againMerry Christmas everyone. (:
Holy ****, you're right! Chu is JUST AS GOOD as he was before, and NOBODY ELSE HAS IMPROVED!Well, last Apex, Chu and Junebug got 2nd to me and Lee Martin
We're talking about the present, not the past. What are you guys talking about?
HOLY ****! TOP 16?! UNREAL! THAT'S LIKE GETTING TOP 32 IN SINGLES! FOR REALLY REALLY GOOD PLAYERS, THIS IS A GDLK STANDARD OF ACHIEVEMENT!you act like chu + top player isnt guaranteed top 16 in teams.
It honestly doesnt take that much to get back into the swing for brawl
Especially for a player at chus level playing a character as basic as kirby.
Plus, its only natural to try and get the best partner possible.
No, everybody is ********.wow nick you're a ****
Because smash is the main event. You always pay more for the entree than the appetisers.why are smash event $10 more that the others?
This is allowed and perfectly fine.and if i get i spectator pass for just $10 and play friendlies of will alex strife kick me off the cube or is that allowed?
I dont know what standards youre working with, But top 32 out of a possibly 400 person tournament is most definitely an impressive achievement regardless of who you are.HOLY ****! TOP 16?! UNREAL! THAT'S LIKE GETTING TOP 32 IN SINGLES! FOR REALLY REALLY GOOD PLAYERS, THIS IS A GDLK STANDARD OF ACHIEVEMENT!
It's not disrespectful. It's ****ing fact.that's disrespectful
if he was at a level once, it is possible for him to reach it again
Chu can be really good if he wants to be; he has proven that in the past. Getting 2nd at Apex in teams is really good.
See, you say this because you're not really good.I dont know what standards youre working with, But top 32 out of a possibly 400 person tournament is most definitely an impressive achievement regardless of who you are.
Now I agree with Riddle on this.Top level players are not hoping to get top ****ing 32.
They're hoping to get in the money.
If they don't get in the money, they feel like they haven't accomplished anything.
Whenever I don't place in the money, I'm frustrated, and there are CLEARLY players better than me.
If you're happy with top 32, you're not aiming high enough.
Fact.
Oh god, so much of this.As it stands now making it to bracket is an accomplishment no matter who you are.
As far as Im concerned, theres only like... 10 people max that I expect to make brackets no matter what. Pretty much everyone else could catch an unfavorable pool and a quick exit.
I think Chu's good in Melee.*Laughs* That's how you guys view the game? Downtalking a player is disrespectful and that's a ****ing fact. And yes it's all about success.. rofl. What a joke.
You want to know why I teamed with Chu in melee? It's because I think it will be an interesting team to do and something I've never done before and I also think we can do really well. If you guys don't have any faith in your players, how can you hope to be respected as a person in the first place?
That doesn't mean you should strive for it.Hey now. Ima be upset if/when I lose no matter what.
But a rational logical thought process should let you realised that if you take all the best players from your region, tristate, texas, canada, md/va, cali, Michigan, Georgia, Europe, AND Japan and then add in the really good people from lesser known regions like San, and Hunger AND relatively unknown people with the capacity to surprise you (see: iLove from Pound V) and its obvious that theres going to be some REALLY good players that dont make it out of pools, much less getting to top 32.
As it stands now making it to bracket is an accomplishment no matter who you are.
**** that, what are we celebrities now? Anyways, pretty sure he can still own most people for free, the game hasn't developed all that much. You don't sign a former all star for 100million bucks cause HE USED TO BE GOOD you give then what they are worth now
Fair enough. That doesn't mean you should strive for it.
Well, you say chu isnt so im not sure lol.I do not think it is an accomplishment to make it to the brackets.
It would depend on the situation of your pools, but unless you get paired with 2 top level players, you should never expect to not make it to the brackets... if you're a top player.
This WAS an argument about top-level players, right?
My point is that just cause he is who he is that does not mean he deserves a super good top partner, like you said what are we celebrities?**** that, what are we celebrities now? Anyways, pretty sure he can still own most people for free, the game hasn't developed all that much.
I mean, switching from saying #4 in my state, to a top player in my state was merely for semantics purposes. I wanted to use the same wording he used.Nice edit, Roller.
