IS THERE A PLAYER IN THE NEW YORK/NEW JERSEY AREA THAT WOULD BE WILLING TO HOUSE ME FOR A MONTH PREVIOUS TO THIS EVENT?

I'm looking to spend a lot of time with family and friends in New York/New Jersey before the event, but I would rather not go broke on a hotel

People DID complain about venue fee for Pound but they still came anyway.

$30 venue = $10 a day

It's a three day tournament, it isn't stupid to have the venue price as is considering we are getting a large venue (in particular at a University nonetheless).

Either way, Alex is working on ways to lower this anyway we just have to see how it works out.

I was originally talking to the college with Alex to figure out costs for the venue and with the prices I heard I'm actually surprised the venue fee is only $30 dollars. But at the same time I didn't know he was planning for 600+ people to come to this so hopefully the money issue will be resolved.

And the main way that Alex could cut the venue price by nearly 60 percent is a kinda hard task to pull off but let's see what he can do. Regardless this is still less than Pound atm.

but anyway mad hype for this as this seems to be the hypest national tourney going on this year so far (better then Whobo atleast. nobody is posting there..)

That being said, anyone have housing offers for Long Island? We will probably be five, Will, Kirin, two people we decide to bring, and I. We're all nice people and would be willing to pay just for a place to sleep that's close by.

I just would like to avoid paying for a hotel as I will have just paid lots of money for Senior-year related stuff ~a month and a half prior (Prom, cap and gown, etc.)

Also looking for a teammate, preferably someone I know or someone from way out of region. I main Marth but play Snake, MK, and Wario in doubles mostly.
