yea, ive heard of the mcgangbang
For something that a couple friends of mine invented when they were drinking, that **** has seriously started to spread. Some other people I know were in a McD's and the people in front of them ordered it, resulting in high fives all around.

McGB is amazing though, but my favorite really horrible thing to eat is the Burger King Stacker, customed with 6 patties and 6 slices of cheese. I can barely finish one.

My attendance is in jeapordy due to a rescheduling of a Wii Tennis Tournament with a reward of a video Ipod. (Only students at the school are allowed to participate).

Any tips tricks or techniques developed by any of y'all would be greatly appreciated.

Um let's see...

First, make sure you hit the ball at the highest point when you serve to do a powershot (noob stuff i know, but never hurts).

I guess some general strats:

Just mix it up with your net man, try and get your opponent to go for him, then return with some cross-court shots from the back. Always try and shoot as far opposite your opponent as you can.

I mean, it's tennis, can't be that much different from throwing turnips in melee. You'll be fine. lol

melee online would be garbage.brawl online is already pretty garbage-y and melee runs faster than brawl.
It'd be lag central.
not if better netcode was implemented, ala GGPO. For reference, if I play Rohins in brawl wifi we get about a good half a second or more of input delay. If I play Rohins in ST on ggpo, its as if we're playing in the same room.

I think the big problem with the game is that it was made for 4 players online, and it probably uses a peer to peer system to discourage cheating and such, but with that you will always have to wait for the player with the slowest connection as apposed to server based communication where you just send info to the server instead of each person playing.

That'd be my only guess because the game gets noticeably slower when a person with a bad connection shows up compared to a player with a good one. In FPSes and other games big on server-based communication you are only as laggy as your connection.

EDIT:
You doing okay over there in Melbourne AL?

electricity takes a certain amount of time to get from one place to the other, that's hte base lag. if it's "instant" then your both literally not seeing the same thing, however big the different.. thats the computer being programed to assume. shooters will lag the hitbox to compensate for lag.

if youre both seeing the same exact moves at the same moment online then youre base lag is based on how long electricity takes to get from your place to thiers and back.

Brawl does have terrible input delay.

I can play ssb64 online with someone from california and get 3 frames of delay. If I play with someone in california in brawl it would probably be around 20-25 frames.

If I play Rohins in ST on ggpo
Sorry for being a noob but whats ggpo? I wanna play ST with you guys. I've always and still do wanna learn that game.

lol i think you're right...i was in a video game club back in '04 @ SCC (seminole community college) and we mostly played melee. two of the guys were spanish, and they used falco or fox. and i think another kid that used falco was either black or spanish...more than likely black

****

My turnip game is terrible!

I also know that if you can't get the very top of the serve you can hit it at almost the lowest point and that takes away the return kill as well.

I'm thinking more along the lines of spin stuff and so on.

Yeah it's official I'm coming. I have the day off so I'm going to be there if I have to walk.

PolMex, hit me up on AIM, I should be off work 11 on most days.
