i think rx- is right. a melee only tourney at this point would be kinda small i think. i would still go though. but then again, i disagree with holding it on a brawl date, it would mean the brawl tournaments ends so late. also, 75% of the people there would just be standing around waiting for melee to end.

Besides, I like Melee better than Brawl just like you guys, but a big Melee-Only tournament wont happen in Florida until FAST1.

Not that many people are willing to travel to get ***** by Lambchops .

The reason Manko's Melee tourney had 12 people was because there was a Brawl tounrey the same say.

I don't want to get on anyone's bad side, and I'm not trying to prevent a Melee tournament.

I love Melee, and I think it's the greater of the two games.

I am simply trying to reason out the best way to have a Melee tourney with the highest possible attendance.

Brawl Doubles and Melee Singles.

Which is IMO the best of both worlds.

Wow Rx, I agree with this BIG TIME! Dude, I would be willing to make that trip just for that. Glad to see Brawl doubles getting some respect. But Melee singles is far better than Brawl singles.

Plus making things go by faster isso much better than being at gigs so late. The last time i went to denny's after gigs was the last melee torny there. =(
