These bigger avatars are fantastic. Does anyone know how to make the quality crisper? It seems to downsize in quality when I upload it.

Make sure it's exactly 100x100 (doesn't go over the limit at all) and in PNG format.

It was 100x100, but the size was well over 34 kb.

I have to say I didn't see this coming, though. I still remember the old days when we weren't even allowed to have custom avatars. (that actually wasn't too long ago. ) It's been awesome to have a custom avatar (75 x 75 wasn't an intolerable size.), but I'm not complaining, 100 x 100 is a great size!

100x100 avatars are almost as amazing as top postbit is.
