I recently had to go on a short trip to LA on bussiness and I was able to rent a car. I'm only 21. There was an extra fee though. They may check your credit too, but you can do it.

I like the design, but think it odd that Marth is seemingly looking off at nothing, with his head tilted. I liked the sketch, where Marth was looking straight ahead, but now that it is in ink, my advice is basically useless. -_-;;

in the original sketch his head was also tilted and he was looking off to nothing. I think in a drawing like this i could make him look directly at another character however i was thinking in 3d so marth could be looking at something that is not in the image itself. Plus fox is about to kick him so it doesnt matter. He will go flying like mew2 in the image.

First off where are all the banners for this competition. Remember you are only competing against the others who also register for oc3. Meaning if nobody does this banner competition and you happen to enter your chances of winning it are high. Apparently a lot arent entering so good luck to the rest of the competitors. Also do not forget there is a thread for oc3 banners in the art emporium and that is where we the judges will be judging from. So post your finalized banner there. Also do not forget to put your banner in your signature and link it to this thread as well. The rules are in the oc3 banner thread in the art emporium if you happen to forget. Now on to other news.


updates on the oc3 tshirt design. Colors arent added yet more characters to be added soon. Inking this thing is taking forever. Thats what happens when you try to draw all 26 characters in smash bros. Also lots of peach players were complaining that peach wasnt on the design before. Im running out of room for god sakes =).

I think i have 5 characters left to do: ganon,dr mario , zelda, young link ,yoshi
for the coloring i think im going to cell shade two shades. Hopefully making coloring the shirts cheaper when printing.

lol pichu looks so mad at CF but CF is just ignoring him....that's too bad for pichu^_^ and hahahaah@popo getting his face stepped on. I like the etail on Mario's overalls, but what are the lines round Fox? Also Im missing dorf, ylink, and zelda...oh and doc

if you are a spectator you cannot play friendlies during the tournament hours. However, once the tournament ends for the night around 10 to 11 pm or whenever it ends spectators are allowed to play friendlies throughout the night till the next day.

remember spectators are paying for 3 days of food, friendlies at night, and housing at the venue that is why it is 50 bucks. It is fairly cheap for all you get.

However spectators can only watch during the tournament. If a spectator is caught trying to play friendlies during the tournament , he/she , will be given a warning and the second time it happens they will be escorted outside the venue with no refund. Spectator fee is for spectating during the tournament but spectators can play friendlies all they want during the night when players are resting or getting practice. During tournament hours if spectators tried to get friendlies it will only hold up the tournament and plus our friendlies area we are going to make during the tournament is just for people in the tournament to get practice. Hope that clears everything up for you and everyone else. Ive posted this many times.

anyways, yes Please Bring Sleeping bags. It'll be more comfortable. There are rugs at the venue and some couches and stuff, But im Pretty sure people are just going to jump on them as soon as they see them.

Your best bet would probably be air matresses or sleeping bags. sleeping bags roll up and arent too much of a hassle to carry around. Air matresses are great in this situation, except where you have to inflate them.

we prefer people bring some sort of sleeping bag because it is a warehouse. Its concrete floors but there are some rooms with carpet hopefully we can let smashers sleep in there. In addition to that, they had left over carpet from one of their businesses, i was asking if we could use those to lay out on the floor for smashers but carpet on top of concrete wont be soft still. So bring a pillow and sleeping bag. Its not as bad as you think, i went to japan bringing both and it served a good purpose once i was there. There are a couple of couches as well but i dont know if the owner is allowing smashers to sleep on them but we will do what it takes to clear that up to see if we could use those facilities.

yes you can, however some would prefer that if you're going to pay 50 for the spectators fee, might as well try to be there all 3 days or else it wouldn't be worth it.

it's totally up to the people however, if they can't make the 1st day and can make the other 2 and still want to come then yes it will still be open.

OC-3 Packet Please Read



Alright guys here it is, the oc3 packet containing the consent forms and liability forms. You must sign and turn in both at the event to be able to enter the tournament.

My website hasnt been updated in along time so everything will still read oc2 until i get around to it which might be never. The oc3 packet reads oc2 thats because most of the file directions lead to oc2 but the file you are viewing at the link below is indeed the new updated oc3 packet. So download it and read it, sign the forms and turn them in at the event. There are also rules and other good info you might want to read up on if you are planning to attend.

lol didnt i mention this already gimpy. The website is made in flash which means the path that i designated is called oc2informationpacket. Meaning if i upload a Oc3information packet the website wont direct it to that, so i kept it oc3.

the oc3 image is not completed yet so we kept the oc2 image.

There was no point in retyping out all the rules for oc2 when oc3 is just like oc3 so we added more to it including the forms =). Gimpy you LOSE. checkmate.
