the pierce v jash video was pretty impressive play by jash, pierce looked really sad when the match ended when i was there though :/ jash knows the matchup since he plays ninjalink all the time and some of pierce's risks costed him alot.

Marthshadow you should play me and go rollcario cause youre probably gonna have a terrible connection =P
P.O.F. claims that marth is/does:
-Arguably the best "edge" guarder
-Goes even w MK (Top Marths think its even.)
-Generally a very safe recovery thats hard to gimp (unless your MK)
-Can plank well
-Tilts are all very solid.
-amongst high tiers is one of the safest when recovering VS MK

lol. my connection is weird. i can play people in canada and have a good connection but have horrid lag with people in cali where i live.
i can see 4 reasons why he thinks that.
1) he plays bad people and bad mks so he can get away with stuff.
2) plays cpu's too much.
3)........i have no idea why. lol
4)watches high level marths beat mks and doesn't understand how hard it actually is to fight a good mk.
i'm leaning towards 3.

maybe ill get better if i play a fellow scrub tho
since in trad. fighting games you can actually get better fighting bad ppl since they give you lots of openings to practice BnB
unlike Smash where they'd just give you bad habits since combos are reactionary + improvisation + both player's skill (and there's no combo counter).
also Sirlin's Play to Win is such an expensive book for its length. The knowledge inside it can be invaluable but everyone knows that nothing subjective like that goes into determining the **** price of a book.
