The Brazilian smashers are a lot better than I thought. Kovarish's Olimar is amazing.

Yeah. There was a decent Diddy main, a Wario main, Snake main, a MK main, and more. There were around 8-10 people in total including me. I won the large majority of the games I played as MK and DDD, but Kovarish is definitely the best of all the Brazilian players IMO. His whistle is ****ing magic.

They said they really liked my MK because its apparently a lot faster than any of the other MKs around here; a style they've never seen before.

I brought my hacks, including all the perfect codes along with the Custom CSS and texture replacement codes. I don't think any of them had seen textures before, they thought they were the coolest things ever. I'll be taking my codes to Anime Friends as well.

Overall, the Sao Paulo smashers are all really cool and welcoming people. Most of them spoke good English, so the smashfest at Kovarish's place was pretty awesome.

I don't think they're gonna do that anymore. This is what's going to happen, from what I've gathered:

At Anime Friends, the huge Brazilian animefest this weekend, there's going to be EVO SA and the regular animefest tournament. All I know is that the regular animefest tournament is going to do one single-elimination tournament each day for 8 days. At the end of those 8 days, the winners of those tournaments will compete in a double-elimination Champ bracket, which will determine the winner.

I have no idea how EVO SA is doing it, though.

nxt to Dphat wit all dem azn biches
D-Smash, UpB, and Tornado.
Actually... they just combined all the moves into an arrow and gave them to link. Apparently he needed that much buffing.
That's why I quit bbrawl. I would rather trip into a reverse warlock punch 3 times a match then deal with link's arrows in bbrawl.

In better news: After talking with kovarish... he may be coming to the US for a week (for oh snap and MiB). Perhaps wichita can show him a thing or two about brawl from the heartlands of america =]

GG tonight. The Ratman needs to avoid Ike altogether; that way he can avoid fsmashes. :)

Yeah, he told me this too. I forgot to ask him whether or not he had a place to stay. Did he tell you anything?

You thought you had to worry about Ike onstage only, but now you have to worry about him offstage. :p
I'll worry if I ever have to deal with that **** in tournament for some only-God-knows reason.

i'm going to talk to thinkaman/aa about giving quick draw the lag that it has in standard, it's a little silly seeing ike recover with ease from above.
