A small part of me wishes that instead of calling it "Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl" they just called it "Nickelodeon Super Brawl" with no subtitle. It'd be easier to say, not have the much-oversatured "All-Star" that takes over every crossover's title, and pose it as a full-on reboot of the Flash games.

The Pixar Popcorn shorts on Disney+ are some of the most worthless, bland pieces of animation I've ever seen - It's a great concept, see what Pixar characters do every day in low-stakes stories akin to the Lucasfilm/advert-era Pixar shorts, but they're so god damn boring - it's just "hey look, the Cars are dancing!" Even André and Wally B. had more plot than the popcorn shorts.
I wonder if the Popcorn shorts were originally made for some sort of Disneyland attraction - because they'd be perfectly servicable as little animations to play on screens during a queue, which would also explain the lack of voice acting.
Even though it has never been officially used in such a context; is never heard outside of remakes and rereleases; and isn't even the first level or title theme, I've always seen the Band Land (Harmony) theme as just "the Rayman theme song", like how SMB1's overworld is "the Mario theme song" or RBY's intro and title theme is "the Pokémon theme song".

While I'm happy Banjo got in Smash, it's always weird to see people say he was the "most deserving DLC" given he's likely the most obscure playable third party in Smash history.
I don't get the outrage behind the McCree name change - like, yeah, of course it's not gonna change anything or pave the way for a better future, but that's really not the intent - just a small thing to make people more comfortable. Frankly ActiBlizz acknowledging the controversy at all is a (very small) step in the right direction.
Changing Toadstool to Peach was easy to get used to so this should be too, especially with a story arc revolving around it. The only reason people even debate Eggbotnik is because "Dr. Eggman" is an objectively stupid name for a threatening villain, even if we're desensitised to it now. Unless they rename McCree "SandwichGuy" or "PastaDude" there's not much to worry about
I'd argue these 3 fake image leaks to be the most believable in SSBU's lifespan.
And one of them is a T-posing Wurmple.
The leak game has been weak.

I found this 2000s-era Nickelodeon branding design bible and they actually gave a plotline to it.
To me, Toad in Smash feels a bit like a "completionism for the sake of completionism" pick. He could have a good moveset, but he isn't really inherently interesting from a moveset level - unlike say, Daisy (from for a pre-Ultimate speculation standpoint) where she would both complete a trio with only the first and third most important present, and provide a unique sports moveset.
If Nick Brawl somehow at some point gets as popular as Smash and can have non-Nick cartoons, all I ask is...

If Geno has a suicide kill it should exclusively be used in 1v1s and not 2v2s (preferably only on stages without background cameos) because then the name "Genocide" would be accurate.
Watching through Rocko nowadays is super fun because you can point out concepts, names, and jokes that were later reused for SpongeBob or Phineas & Ferb. The episode where Spunky has fleas has that P&F intertwined plot structure down to a T, 16 years early.
Mixing and matching Mii costumes is fun, and not just for Sanshead or whatever - figuring out that you can make another character using parts of different costumes is amazing.

When it comes to image leaks, you gotta think of it this way: The real image was made by humans in Photoshop, the fake image can also be.
People tend to confuse "good game" with "important game".
It is extremely unfair to say Mario 64 singlehandedly created open 3D platformers when not only were Croc and Bubsy 3D in development at the same time, but Jumping Flash came out earier. Mario 64 may be better than Croc, Bubsy, and Robbit's adventures combined - but it is not any more revolutionary or significant.
The use of "/s" for sarcasm is really inconvenient when you want to get across that there could be either multiple or just one of something.
Teen Titans Go has a ton of obscure DC characters, right? Regardless of the quality of their works and the whole "hey look, thing you recognise!" debate, the TTG directors are a decent choice to make a movie for a fandom more attached to lesser known one-offs than mainstay regulars

Out of all the Disney IPs they chose not Marvel, not Toy Story, not Star Wars, not Indiana Jones, not even The Simpsons - but the Jungle Book.
Smart choice.
It's kinda funny how the stages in Nick Brawl - a game where a majority of the characters are just regular people who live in regular cities with slightly weirdly-shaped houses at most - has more aesthetic variety in its stages than Smash.
I don't get why people have a problem with games shipping with incomplete content and adding the rest later. To me it comes off more as an internet-age replacement for unlockable characters than "finishing it later"
Never before have I been glad to find out a piece of content is paid DLC before launch.
Smash speculators realising there's more factors to major game development decisions than just "people want this character and hes cool"

I saw both Bay TMNT movies in cinemas when they came out and I only remember the scene where Bebop and Rocksteady, after just getting mutated, stare at their big PPs.
2018-to-2019 was a brief but glorious period where barely-if-sentient joke characters ruled.
