People complaining about Wario farting in Smash becomes quite a bit funnier when you realise that, looking at the history of Japanese Wario marketing, farting has a non-zero chance of being - at least in part - chosen to be a ratings-board-friendly alternative to crapping.
Let me just say: when (or more optimistically, if) Smash 7 is announced, I am leaving, cold turkey, no ifs and buts. Am not touching any of that ****, don't need it in my life.

It's funny how the Cutting Room Floor's witty editorialised description of Super Mario 64 clearly said something very obviously wrong once and they very hastily fixed it once the general internet consensus started to shift a little.
I think I uhh... might have contributed to giving Games Done Quick a mascot by accident. They recently introduced this character/logo/symbol/thing on the left for their Awfully Silly block, which I'm like 80% sure is a modified version of Weasel Willy from Don't Buy This (one of the VERY few public domain video games), who I made an upscaled version of the sprite of and posted on Wikimedia Commons among a few other sites (not that I was the first person to dump the sprite ofc, just the first to upscale it and take it out of a screenshot or sprite screen context). That's kinda neat.
It's kinda cool that most of the last 3 MultiVersus seasons' characters were female.

I rag on the NASB fandom for clinging on super hard to Nicktoons Unite a lot, but I can't lie that two times in my Antonblast playthrough I thought to myself "Hmm... getting a lot of Nicktoons Attack of the Toyboys for DS vibes from this"
Sonic being unpopular in Japan is a pretty funny pub-trivia fact that is interesting to analyse and puts a lot of stuff into perspective (while making others stranger), but I don't really get why non-Japanese Sonic fans really care about it on an emotional level. You're in one of the countries where Sonic is popular, you probably already have Sonic fan friends from the countries where Sonic is popular (most countries with common access of video games), it doesn't really effect you.
Regardless of our thoughts on DK's new design, and the series' potential future, we should all be able to come together on one issue:
