Plants Vs. Zombies has such a weird cultural legacy looking at it.

First game basically created a new genre of Tower Defense games, it was well beloved, EA got a hold of it, made a bunch of mobile games, vaguely capitalizing on that gameplay (many of them were exclusive to China), made a bunch of third person shooters that had no right being as good as they were, and are still truckin' and still is a beloved series that is simultaneously more and less obscure than you think.

Genuinely one of my favorite crossover fighter rosters, You can have Akira Yuki and Holo from Spice and Wolf beat up Taiga from Toradora and Celty from Durarara on Green Hill Zone and Bellbridge from NiGHTS. I just wish the Assists were playable.

About the new Donkey Kong design, currently I have no strong feelings on the design one way or another, I am used to the Rare design overall, but I can definitely get used to the new one.

Not my theory but I think it is an interesting thought, I could see them using the Rare design for Donkey Kong Country specifically and the new design for Mario games specifically. Sort of like Wario's Biker Outfit, how that is used specifically for WarioWare, but whenever he appears in a Mario game, it's the overalls.

Damn my local GameStop is shutting down, Shocked it took this long, no one ever went in there after they made the switch to Funko City.

I find it so funny that there is a sizable group of people, where after the Switch 2 leaks and rumors have started to say stuff like "Nintendo has lost the narrative for the Switch 2, they have to announce it in a few days or risk more leaks, and those leaks will show how it isn't as powerful as they want us to think it is"

Like, we haven't even seen any games, we still know nothing about the console. (it probably wouldn't have been able to run every game at 4k 60fps anyways, I truly don't know why you expected that. The chip size would not change much in that regard)
