Currently making a memes roster and it's kinda funny how there can technically be "joke picks" by some Smash fans's definition.

Had a dream there was a big party at my college or some place I used to go to and when it was done I was really distressed because I lost my parents's phone numbers and didn't have any way to get home. I asked the party organizer guy and he just seemed annoyed said I could get a car but I told him I didn't know how to drive, he just said it wasn't that hard and I could drive without a license. There was a bit where I was trying to find a payphone and I found one in a fake castle but it was made out of snow. While I was walking around the party organizer guy came up to me with a solution involving hiding a robot in my hair. This solution somehow lead me to be in New York (but not New York City) and I was in a small blue garbage bucket that I could use to get around faster (oddly it didn't have wheels) and at one point a police officier stopped me and said I was going too fast.

There was also a subplot about Homer and Marge's wedding in the Simpsons where Marge meets the second Marge Homer keeps around, who was going to go get plastic surgery, and they fuse into some horrifying being that a bunch of firefighters encounter in a 90's American Nintendo commercial but it's from the monsters POV so you don't get to see what it looks like.

Then I was in a place that looked like the area around where I lived and I was in a car on a roof, after some nervous driving I decided to park. Then I woke up in-dream and asked my brother if he had seen the small blue garbage bucket and if he was particularly attached to it

I really don't get the sentiment of "people should pay attention to the alternatives in this near-monopolized genre because then the main developers of the main game in the genre might get scared and make better games." Why not just play the alternatives if they're better games?

People understandably get mad whenever in a thread about some issue the person who posted the thread just says "nvm fixed it" but it is also infuriating whenever someone is trying to do the same thing you are doing for a different reason and the solution works for their use case but not yours

I think people writing reboots of once popular serieses where the main character is a washed up loser should get mildy beat up

I really want to see what a version of The Simpsons where the episodes have actually changed the status quo instead of just resetting everything would look like. I want to see how different it would be from the normal Simpsons. Not like trying to find a distinct continuity, just applying every status quo change that gets reverted at the end of the episode to some alternate Springfield. Though there is the problem of how one would define the edge cases of resetting vs just how the story goes. Like, Marge vs. The Monorail ends with the monorail being taken down and everything going back to normal, but in that story it feels much more natural than "Homer screws up at his new job/hobby and gets fired/quits" if that makes sense. (Though I suppose they could just keep up the monorail despite all of its dangerous faults in this version, which isn't exactly out of character of Springfield.) Speaking of "character gets a job" episodes, they do kinda propose a bit of a problem. Though I suppose only the most recent episode of this type would actually effect anything, with them just quitting all of their other jobs previously. But I honestly think that this could be a really interesting scenario.
