Omniversus tournament rules i did for fun:

• Before the tournament, all contestants must pick up to 3 characters they will play. 1 main and (optionally) up to 2 pockets. Some of the biggest tournaments might allow only 1 or rarely no pockets. These are the only characters contestants can play.
• The stages will be from a set of stages picked by the tournament organizer. These usually resemble (or sometimes even are) the most played competitive stages in other platform fighters. Some tournaments will even get an artist to draw custom stages, thus creating a new fictional location.
• Contestants must announce their main and pockets before the tournament to allow other players to practice and prepare.

I realized that if Omniversus had items, then it'd probably be every fictional item too. And then that the items spawning in would be completely random, so you'd probably never get the same item twice. How's that for chaotic item play?

It really annoys me how TV Tropes forces completely unrelated works with the same name but different types of media to share the same subpages a lot of the time.

A Warioware RPG like Mario and Luigi or Paper Mario could easily work due to the attacks in those games being like microgames already

Thinking about Cyborg Sun's concept of Omniversus, if it were real, then pretty much any other video game wouldn't really be "needed" in the mainstream. It has every character ever, in every genre ever, taking place in every location ever. Sure there would probably be some indie releases here and there, but any big budget game would most definitely be outcompeted by Omniversus. So perhaps in the future, video game players would refer to Omniversus only by...

Had a dream there was a game were a bunch of characters did stuff and at one point they all entered a library and General Jelly Jiggler from Bobobo turned into a bunch of small penguins (the alternative was turning into a bunch of black holes). And then he fell through the floor or something to the museum level and turned into a statue, so then the rest of the characters had to go find him, one of which was Killer Bean. Killer Bean goes to the museum and then he comes across some sort of diagram of himself showing that he got extra weapons than more people and stuff. This went into Killer Bean's tragic backstory, where he was originally a character in a multiplayer FPS game that was favored by the developer, so he got more stuff than the rest of the players. This caused him to act spoilede and a lot of the players to be mad at him, so then one player cornered him and kept killing him and he kept respawning until he ran out of bitcoins (respawning apparently cost 1 bitcoin in this game). Then he was turned into part of the game server's code, watching the rest of the players play the game without him. Eventually he got out somehow but this whole experience turned him into the bean we know today.

Pizza Tower cartoon episode where The Noise finds out The Vigilante has a crush on Noisette and The Noise is absolutely delighted because this means that he could finally be free from Noisette but he has to make it look like he "lost" Noisette "fair and square" to not raise suspicion or something but he just keep unintentionally winning all the challenges or whatever

Eventually it culminates in a western duel that The Noise is trying to lose and he looks in his briefcase or whatever to try and find his weakest gun and everything is just super lethal and dangerous and after the duel Vigilante takes his loss honorably and he and The Noise shake hands while The Noise is silently fuming behind a forced smile

Had a dream there was a scrapped Wallace and Gromit movie where they go to space and find some alien bubblegum-looking pet things. Two of them were the main ABGLPTs of the movie, a big one and a small one. I don't remember much about the big one but the small one was afraid of the bottom of the ocean and "technically a trans woman" because one time "when she screamed, she chewed". There was also a scene that was a montage of things you couldn't do, one of which was put a robot cat and robot dog in the same house, not because cats and dogs hate each other or anything (you could put a regular cat and dog in the same house) but because they're from different manufacturers and will destroy each other. It was called "Wallace and Gromit: Lost in Space" and I had another dream it was also a sequel to the recent Garfield movie.

Sometimes I feel that it's easy to not realize that 1928 is the absolute cutting edge of the public domain (when talking about all works and disregarding lapsed copyright and such) and not just some random year
