imagine if smash bros's next game had a "street fighter 3" type of roster where there's only like 5 returning characters and the rest of the cast is just a bunch of weirdo newcomers like the guy from urban champion and the guy from clu clu land

i tried playing ice climber
yea i think that **** is genuinely nearly unplayable LOLLLLLLL like its fine for the first few levels right, but the hit detection is so weird when jumping, and as soon as the game starts introducing obstacles like conveyor belts, moving clouds, and walls that bounce you in the other direction, the game just falls flat on its ass cause you just can NOT deal with these in a game where you can't steer your jump very well
dribble and spitz' folder in mega microgame$ is probably my favorite in the game, the vibes are just immaculate

man when i was like 12 i got sonic gems collection and thought that sonic r was an underrated masterclass game that the internet meanies just didn't get but like playing it now
yea it just. sucks. its so content barren, the controls fight against you all the time, and the single player mode where you unlock things sucks too. its also like, horribly unbalanced. multiplayer mode is just a race of who can pick super sonic first, and like 80% of the cast isn't worth player after you've unlocked everyone.
when i was a kid, my friend chucked a gamecube controller at my skull because i was beating him with super sonic and that just sums up the whole multiplayer experience.
there's not any real reason to check out sonic r, its a neat lil curiosity if you're playing single player, but you're better off playing sonic the fighters if you got gems collection (with its horrendous input lag). the only reason i could think of anyone wanting to check this game out nowadays is if youu're like 10 and you want to see if tails doll actually does come out of the tv and kill you. but he doesn't even do that, so the game wastes your time in that regard too.
tl;dr just play sonic & all star racing transformed.you can play as ryo from shenmue and race in a forklift. 10/10

can you guys remember like more than two of the new stages from base game ssbu? all i can remember is new donk city. it might be just because i haven't played the game in a long while, but i dont remember any stage introduced in ssbu other than new donk city and the dlc stages, i feel like they're really forgettable

had a pretty insane dream. spoilered for giant wall of text
so, i actually remember quite a bit firstly, i was taking a walk around town near my neighborhood, when i noticed a bunch of people crowded around a weird "gambling" building, i dont remember what it was called, but again, bunch of people crowding it, and i remember a bunch of obscenities being spewed by everyone trying to get in, including a bunch of 4chan slang
i got a bunch of picture of everyone. for some reason, and i tried to squeeze myself in where the crowed became a line suddenly and everyone was basically going through the toll booth, but in the form of a monkey with a name tag on his chest that says "george the destroyer", who was being monitored by a really gruff looking guy in a wizard suit who would ask "you got a paper with andrew jackson on it?" which basically was him asking for 20 bucks, and if you gave the monkey any less, he would maul your face off
i got lucky because i only had 10 bucks, but someone cut in front of me to give him a 1 dollar bill and he got his balls chopped off by the monkey off, so i managed to sneak by into the room behind the "toll booth"
and in said room, was this like, weird church room with a bunch of seats in it. it looked like the church my dad took me to when i was a kid. and then at the center of the podium at the pack emerges a fat neckbeard wearing a fedora, who gives a speech about something. i remember "we did it, reddit army" being spoken, but idk anything else. and then, we were given laptops for some reason and we had to take a test. one of the questions was "why do you like the kiwifarms?" and i just felt like i had to get out. and the way i did that was i was somehow uploading my images of the people i took photos of outside the building to the google doc i was taking the test on and said "is this you?", but somehow, the neckbeard can monitor all the test screens with his "/x/ vision" and created a really somber tone for the whole area suddenly
and said "sorry keklites, we have to pause this moment. we may be evil, but we just had an exceptionally sinful noob who wants to pwn us. we have to escort him out." and the neckbeard personally teleported near me and walked me out. he said he was gonna have authorities deal with me, which was scary, and then he threw me out onto the beach, which the gambling site was near now apparently. and then said officers came up, and they were actually just a wobbuffet and a swampert. all they did was ask me questiosn like "why did you do that" and say stuff like "you know thats not right to do" and just interrogated me further. i was actually walking around town again with a walkie talkie in my hand so they could interrogate me more while i was getting my excercise, but suddenly the conversation just ended
so i went back to that beach and saw that the swampert evolved into a FRICKING WAILORD and the wobbuffet is just watching. i asked "hey why arent you getting onto me anymore" and the wailord just said "oh you're off the hook lol go home"
also the wailord consumed gallons of sea water and sank to the bottom of the ocean and drowned after that. thats pretty much the end of the dream, other than going to the mall and seeing it invaded by zombies while we epically destroy them with cool powers

i hate this guys design. like, it's mostly fine, and it's probably the most normal dedsign nomura's ever done, but the only thing about it is that i thought those things above his boots were, like, cowboy chaps, or something. but it's actually the jeans being tucked inside out because he's wearing REALLY long jeans for some reason and has to do that. that's extremely stupid i hate it.
when i was like 11 years old i hated super mario kart (snes) with a passion so i made videos "reviewing" it with my 3ds where i pointed it at my tv screen while playing it and struggling to come up with nonsensical avgn style criticisms on the spot as i go
i also just said nonsense statements about the game like how it "only sold 1 copy" or "the game got a 1/10 on ign" and i also had the super mario kart title screen as an enemy on face raiders
i found it funny that it took a while for bayo to get banned from smash 4 tournaments, but mii fighters were on the spot because having specials you can change on mediocre characters is too much to handle apparently
i think its funny how when it came out, braid was praised as some DEEP and SUBVERSIVE masterful work of art, and now when you see people talking about it, it's either them acknowledging how up its own ass both the game and its creator are, or people talking about soulja boy and how the creator was immensely upset by the fact that he actually had fun with the game
for some reason, i feel like there would've been a very likely reality that people started calling platform fighters "mascot fighters" and i had a visceral reaction to that thought
i have beating the bouncer (ps2) like five times, i do not recommend it tho -
