In addition to how oddly pissed Isaac from Binding of Isaac was in Blade Strangers, Nicalis actually seemed to be trying to make Isaac seem "cool" in their marketing. Like, look at the alternate cover they made for Afterbirth+

He got American-Kirby-Ized in the same system, in the same regions (ignore the PEGI symbol this cover was in the US too) in the same game.

Had a dream that someone made Drifting Dimensions a real game but none of the crossover characters were in it. Instead, I think like the engine classes all had unique characters or something. The game was in a pixel art 2.5D style and got super popular, up to like, a mainstream level. Then in another part of the dream there was only one character who looked a lot like Plok and there was some multiplayer free roam mode or something. I think they were also trying to build up to the crossover roster or something because while I was playing it there was an announcement that Mort the Chicken would be added, and there was also some random duck added as a racer at the same time.

If Gordon Freeman was in Smash (or another platfighter) I think that a Garry's Mod player would be a really good echo fighter for him. The weapons in Gmod are literally just the weapons from Half Life 2, so you'd pretty much only have to code in an item-spawning move, a couple of props, maybe change a couple of visuals, and you've already got a pretty good fighter. While a fully-unique fighter would still be cool, this could still be a pretty easy and faithful way to represent Gmod.

DOS game prices were wild back in the day, you've got like some **** called something like "Balloon Bouncer" that consists of 350 repetitive levels that was made in a week and has exactly one more unique mechanic than the shareware version and it has the exact same price as something like Doom.

Granted, back in these days they had to mail out all copies due to the being unable to offer them for download at such a scale, but I digress.

I really hate when a program feels like it has to have a function's hotkey be the same as its first letter without paying attention to the general keyboard layout and how people use the program. The biggest example I've seen is in Ultimate Doom Builder. In the 2D mode, you move the camera using WASD controls. All's well and good, but in the 3D mode, the default controls are switched to ESDF. Why? I'm pretty sure it's because they mode A the hotkey to align textures. A whole control method made inconsistent just because they made a hotkey the first letter.
